Magnum - strap-on dildo by Fun Factory - review by Enigma

This has to be the prettiest toy in my collection! Toys like this make me want to put them in a display case on my coffee table. The blue and white one is just fabulous, it looks happy. For anyone who doesn’t like the idea of using realistic looking dildos, the Magnum may be ideal. It isn’t small at all but it’s not intimidating either. It is perfect for harness use, but more on that later. The Magnum is very sturdy and well made. It makes a wonderful addition to any to collection.

Silicone is a very durable material. The Magnum is very dense and has very, very little squish to it. This can be either good or bad depending on your personal preferences. Its rigidity makes it very easy to control even during hard thrusting. You don’t have to worry about it slipping around like softer dildos can. The surface is very smooth and is designed to slide easily. There are no seams or rough edges anywhere. Aside from the color, the shape of the head is the most notable feature of the dildo, and it is very effective at getting to those special spots. At 7.5 inches long the flared head does a fabulous job of stimulating the prostate. It’s not what I would call large, but I’m a size queen; however it is quite filling! The tip comes has a gentle taper and is easy to insert. The flared base holds securely in most harnesses, and because of how wide the base it is very stable.

Silicone is probably one of the best materials to make sex toys out of. It’s non-porous which prevents bacteria from getting into the material. This means you don’t need to cover it with condoms like you do with UR3 products. It’s a very safe product to share, although I highly recommend using condoms whenever sharing any toy, especially if they are used anally. It can withstand temperatures up to around 500 degrees Fahrenheit, handy for those extra hot nights, and it can be sterilized in boiling water. You can even put it in the dishwasher! I have two gripes with this toy; one of which is that it is incompatible with Silicone lube because it will deteriorate the solid silicone.

I generally prefer larger dildos but I’m very glad the Magnum isn’t any larger. My bottom might just need a softer touch, but I have to go very slowly at first with the Magnum. The taper of the tip makes penetration fairly easy, but because the silicone is so hard it can feel uncomfortable at first. By contrast UR3 type materials are fairly soft and adjust to the body while the body adjusts to accommodate the object. I use plenty of lube and I have to concentrate on relaxing as I slowly slide it in. The head feels quite large going in, but once it’s in the shaft slides right inside without a problem. After I’ve loosened up the rigidity becomes a great asset. By adjusting the angle of penetration I can hit several different spots. The extra girth at the end makes for a very unique sensation that dildos with a straight shaft don’t offer. Also the tapered tip can be very precise even during harder thrusting.
