I do not believe you can go wrong with Tantus. I have not been let down yet. If you are a beginner at anal or just enjoy using small toys, this one is a great buy.

Use

The small silk is best suited for anal play. It is a good toy to warm up to larger anal toys, or your partners penis. I do not believe that many women will get much pleasure using this dildo for vaginal play. It is a bit on the small side. It has a flared base for use in a harness. It is 100% waterproof and can be used in the shower, tub, or hot tub.

Material / Texture

The small silk is made from Tantus silicone. It is silky smooth, with some give to it. He is flexible and not suited for g-spot or p-spot stimulation. I have never noticed any of our Tantus toys having a bad smell or taste, not that we taste them.

There is not texture of any kind on this dildo. He is 100% smooth, with no visible seems.

Design / Shape / Size

This dildo is designed well for anal beginners. He has a 1 inch diameter. I think that is the perfect size for warming up to anal sex or anal play with bigger dildos. He is about as big around as my pointing finger, without the fingernail. Something my wife appreciates. He is longer then my finger. He is about 4 inches of insertable length.

Performance

We love the feel of the silicone. The only other material that comes close is glass. This dildo preforms well. Sometimes it is a little difficult to insert because of how flexible it is. I would enjoy it more, if it were a little less flexible. But with the 1 inch diameter, I do not see it being stiffer without making it of different material.

The flared base works well in out harness. It goes in without any problems and stays in during use.

Care and Maintenance

Seeing how it is made of 100% silicone, it is very easy to clean. You can boil it in water for a couple of minutes. You can put it in your dishwasher. You can use toy cleaner. You can wash him with soap and warm water. You can soak him in a bleach solution. 100% silicone has no pores. So he is easy to clean after each use. You can share him with out needing to use a condom, if he is cleaned after each use. That is good for households like mine that have not had a condom in them for over 10 years.

You can store him just about anywhere. Although he does pick up a lot of lint and dust. But a quick rinse under water before use and he is ready to go.

Like I wrote above, it would be nice if he was just a tad bit stiffer. It would make insertion easier.

I still like this one. Nothing better then a pinky finger made from silicone. Although it hardly gets used, I do not regret purchasing this dildo. This will stay in out collection for many more years to come. It has no signs of wear and tear after years of use.

      if your Theo has the ability you may need to change o-rings. the circumfrance of the small silk is 2 1/2 inches

      Hi Kval! I think Silk is a wonderful toy for an anal novice. I've used this toy on a couple of anal beginners...it's very good because it's small and very smooth. You should not look for something bigger, she can only move up to a larger toy once she learns to relax the muscles with a smaller one. Good luck!
    • You can always go smaller, with beads, etc. DON'T go bigger, especially if she's apprehensive about it! Start with a finger or two before you buy a toy. If she's not ok with that, then it is silly to waste your money.

      And PLEASE remember, Lube is your friend. Use lots of it. When you think you have enough, use some more! Thicker stuff, like Maximus, is really good in these situations.
