Like a Rock

This toy is versatile and fun, especially if you're used to the rigidness of the real thing. If you're looking for a harder piece that's easy to take care of and you are going to want to use it often, then O2 is worth the price.
Published: December 16, 2010
Pros:
Holds temperature well.
Large head for g-spot stimulation.
Rigidity pairs well with vibration.
Cons:
Rigidity could cause bruising.
This silicone seems to dry faster than other brands.

Use

This toy is best suited for vaginal use with a strap on harness. That's not to say that you couldn't use it with your hand, but the shape of it isn't conducive to self play. There is no handle to speak of so you partner might have a time trying to grip it.

If you do choose to use O2 out of a harness, twisting him can greatly increase g-spot stimulation because his large head causes greater pressure in those specific areas than if he was similarly size all the way down.

Also, If you were wanting to use this product anally, you should use extra lube. Tantus silicone seems to dry off faster that other silicones like Viskin.

Material / Texture

O2 has no smell to speak of and the highest safety rating. This is the kind of piece you want if you're going to use it regularly.

The dual silicone provides strength and softness. The inner core is higher density silicone. The outer layer is lower density and provides give to make rough play possible. Tantus did a great job. The rigidity is very close to the real thing, slightly more flexible which allows for a greater range of possible positions.

The veins are visible and easily felt in your hand but not so much inside, kind of a bummer if that extra texture draws you.

Design / Shape / Size

This toy's realism is only in shape. However, the color is great for fantasy role playing. The Purple has a very dead look to it which may turn some people off. Also the white silicone turns grayish over time.

The size is small to medium for me, but I've found that I'm a poor judge of what is too big or small for beginners because this was my first dildo and it's stated to be a larger one generally not one for beginners. However, if you are willing to work with it (use lots of lube) and can be relaxed, it should be quite worth while.

Performance

This toy can take a beating and will probably last forever if you give it the least bit of tlc. I found that it performs the best with a harness.

You might have trouble with o-ring harnesses since 02's head is much larger than his base. He fit quite nicely into the SpareParts Joque harness, though.

My partner and I use toys almost exclusively and we found this product to be satisfying. However, you should be careful since this product is quite rigid and I found myself bruised if it was used too roughly. Conversely that rigidity makes him great fun for use with a larger massager since the vibrations will transfer down his shaft more strongly than a softer dildo.
    • Comfortable
    • Easy to use
    • Not discreet at all

Care and Maintenance

Silicone toys are a breeze to care for. Us a little soap and water, dry it, wrap it in a cloth, and you are all set. You can even completely sanitize them by boiling them or running them through the dish washer. Keeping it dry is important because they can mold.
Water based lubes are what you want for silicone toys. Other lubes just aren't safe and can destroy the toy entirely.
    • Easy to clean
    • Easy to store
    • Low maintainance

This one is great paired with something like the rechargeable Mystic Wand. Thanks for the review.

Thanks for the review! I have been looking at this one for a bit and I'm not sure if it is too firm for me because of its size... Im bad at deciding on toys lol

@Waterfall
You're Welcome! Tantus Silicone seems to be firmer than Vixskin so if your used to that then he'll be a little rigid. 02 is a good toy, but if you're used to something smaller then I'd say that you probably want a lot of lube and maybe a warm up toy first.

  • HOLY Shizzam! O2 is back!
    • I just got the email...
"An item you inquired about is back in stock"

I was shocked and surprised to see it being the O2!

Anyone else been waiting for this?!

      Now...
For those who have it...was it worth the money?

  • O2 Revolution Discontinued?
    • I heard a rumor that the O2 Revolution was being discontinued, which made me sad because it's so pretty and I've been wanting to get one for a while to use on my boyfriend. The rumors seem to be supported by the fact that all three colors are out of stock here at EdenFantasys. Could someone please let me know what's up, and if there's a chance we can get one or if I should remove it from my wish lists...? Thanks!

Where did you hear the rumor? That rumor was going around months ago too and it turned out to be false. Tantus had just stopped making it briefly while they worked out a manufacturing or some other problem.

Also, it looks like all three colors are for sale on Tantus's site. I'm guessing they're just temporarily out of stock here.
    • I've heard it a few times now in the past few months, and it's been out of stock for a while so I got worried. Thanks for setting it straight. I'd be heartbroken if they were discontinued... I've got almost enough to buy one now!

  • O2 Revolution
    • Hopefully this is a sign of high demand - but I noticed that the Pink and Purple O2 Revolution dildos are out of stock. And the Purple is the only color in stock on the Tantus website. Is this dildo (that I really really want) getting discontinued or is it just out of stock?

Tantus has had a lot of O2 stuff on sale for months and months. I wouldn't not be surprised if it was being discontinued or changed in a major way.

I looked on their website and the only color being sold now is the purple one. I think it looks like it is going to be discontinued, if you really want it, you may want to get a hold on one.
