Little Hottie Not So Hot

Overall, I would say pass on this product. While the Little Hottie emerges strong from the gate with design, it ultimately fails in its mission. It looks great on paper: size, dimensions, features, etc.... But not all things that are good in theory work in the real world. So, unless you are extremely immune to pain, or hard and unforgiving materials I would invest the money elsewhere.

Use

My wife and I used it both in a harness and as a hand held dildo. The base is wide enough for the harness and we had no problems with it staying securely in place.

However, due to the extremely rigid material I would suggest using extreme caution with thrusting or anal penetration.

Material / Texture

The Little Hottie is 100% silicone, and it lives up to its reputation in the department of smell and taste. It is indeed odorless and tasteless.

However, while others have described this dildo as having "give", or "softness" to it, I found it to be extremely rigid and hard.

Design / Shape / Size

I purchased this toy for the size, as I prefer smaller toys. The size and shape is one thing Happy Valley got right when making this toy.

If the texture and firmness were different, the toy would probably get a 5 star rating. The finish is a beautiful marbelized red, and the ridge and slight curve are ideal for stimulation. The matte finish is not sticky, as some toys can be, and comes clean easily.

The vibrating bullet is an interesting addition, but falls short both in strength and design. The strength is simply not enough to satisfy. Removed from the shaft it is not enough on its own. In the shaft the vibrations are slight at best.

To top it off, the bullet becomes firmly lodged and stuck in the shaft when inserted as far as necessary. It was nearly impossible to remove with my fingers, and I almost broke down and reached for the tool box. Luckily I was able to pry it out.

Performance

We initially attempted to use this toy with a harness. After it was inserted, only partially, I found it extremely painful, and attempted to remedy the problem by switching positions and adding additional lubrication. After several attempts with the rock hard toy, I was able to somewhat comfortably accomodate it. However, as soon as any movement was attempted the rigidity once again caused severe discomfort.

There is no reason that this toy should cause any amount of discomfort, considering its small size in comparison with the average dildo. It should, in fact, be easy to accomodate for those used to dildos of greater girth and length.

However, because of the rock hard surface and deep ridge there was no way of using the toy without some form of pain.

We used it hand held as well. I was hoping to get a better angle and perhaps help my body adjust to the material. This was done to no avail. It was just as uncomfortable as a hand held as it was as a strap on.

Care and Maintenance

The material is 100% silicone. As I stated previously, it did not live up to my past experience with silicone toys, but that is what it's made of.

Because of its composition it cannot be used with silicone lube. The Little Hottie should only be used with a water based lube. If you are not sure what kind of lube you have, be sure to check the ingredients, labels, or search online to ensure that it is NOT silicone based. A silicone based lube will eat away at the toy, destroying it and making it unsafe for use.

It is easily cleaned with soap and water, and can be boiled or placed in the dishwasher, providing you remove the vibrating bullet from the hollow shaft.

Packaging

The toy was simply packaged in a plastic bag. There was no box, storage container, or instructions included.

Experience

As I have given several examples of my experience above, I will take this opportunity to tell you my wife's experience, as the receiver of this toy:

Although my wife can easily accomodate much larger toys, such as the O2 Revolution, which is both wider and almost twice the length of the Little Hottie, she found it uncomfortable. Although she did not find it as painful as I did, she agreed that the texture was discomforting. She could not handle the toy being thrust, moved much at all, and said that she would find using it for any length of time or in a vigorous manner painful.
Follow-up commentary
Well, I still don't like the product itself. At all. But I can definitely give the Happy Valley some credit for trying to make up for it.

Upon the horrible experience we had with the "Little Hottie", I emailed the company directly to inquire about whether or not I received a deffective product, and to see if their materials are consistently that hard. It is much firmer than any other silicone toy I have ever felt.

But Happy Valley decided to try and make it up to me. They offered to send us a new custom toy, made from softer silicone than they typically use. They ended up sending us 3 toys. Two are blue and a medium firmness. One is the dimensions of the "Little Hottie", the other may be the dimensions of the regular "Hottie". Unfortunately they both seem a bit firmer than we would like, although we have not yet used them. Luckily the bigger version seems a little bit softer than the little one.

They also sent one with a wonderful softness to it. It is much squisher than the other models, but still seems to hold its shape well. (Although we have not yet used it, as I mentioned earlier). But to the touch, it feels like they got that one right. This one is considered to be the soft model, as opposed to medium. It is red, and the same dimensions as the Little Hottie. I can guess that it will be the winner of the group.

While even all of the replacements don't seem to be winners, I applaud the way the company has handled our issue. They went above and beyond, to not just replace the item, but to send us 3 custom made selections to attempt to meet our preferences.

They also sent us a new vibrating bullet with the toys.
