Goddess - strap-on dildo by Tantus - review by herdisleah

I'm using this as a vibrator. The girth is nice and filling, the gentle curve is sexy, and the bumps are delicious. This really was exactly what I was looking for at the time. The vibrating bullet is really very strong and the sexy vibes transmit fairly well.

That said, this goddess is versatile. She's a goddess of vibrators for certain, with a removable bullet in the base. She's also a goddess of the strap-on to some and a goddess of dildo's to others.

As always, you have Tantus-quality silicone to create a high quality toy like this.

Silicone is the way to go - it's body safe, pthalate-free, and extremely comfortable. You really can't go wrong with pure silicone. Silicone is non-porous, completely odor free, and silicone can be totally sterilized - with a bleach solution, the dishwasher, or boiling it in water. Any silicone toy can take either oil or water based lubes, but don't use silicone lube on any silicone toys. The texture is fairly smooth and glossy, but with the bumps that definitely adds some grip. The toy has some squish to it - the silicone is not completely unforgiving. It does bend some, maybe 45 degrees when you flex it. This type of silicone is exactly what I love about tantus - safe, a little give, and a firmness.

The size is great. Its the next step up from some of the lesser hard plastic vibes, which is exactly what I was looking for. There's a gentle curve to it that matches my body. The bumps and ridges aren't bumpy enough to be problematic for inserting it anally, but they are bumpy enough to give my body a pleasurable feedback.

The vibe function needs to be mentioned. There's a small, hollowed-out section in the very bottom of the toy where the vibrating bullet goes. Its a very tight fit - the bullet has a hard time getting removed when you need to clean it. The tight fit is great for transmitting the vibes, which can be felt a bit more than halfway up the toy. Unfortunately the button to turn on the bullet is at the very end, so it tends to get hit when you put this thing into a strap-on.

The shape, material, design and performance of this toy all come down to one thing - that shape. Thats what a dildo is all about. As a vibe I'd give it only 3 of 5 stars. As a strap on dildo, due to the button on the bullet, I'd give it 3. But because this thing is so damn versatile I have to give it a much higher rating. A toy that can fill multiple functions saves you money and makes me a happier kinkster.

Unfortunately the bullet uses four watch batteries for power...I was really skeptical and did not realize this when I bought it. Luckily though I've had this thing for several months, and using it and my other vibe, this thing is actually a lot less of a battery-sucker than my regular one that uses AA's.

The silicone is super easy to care for. Boil it, bleach it, put it in the dishwasher. Wash it in the interim. The bullet is a little bit trickier. I wouldn't call it waterproof, but it is definitely water resistant. The button and the seal are both sealed with plastic. I doubt it can be boiled/submersed but wiping it down with a bleach solution will definitely work.
