My li'l red rocket!

The Sedeux Flare is a great beginning to the world of silicone dildos. Harness compatible with a good flat flared base and sparkly red pearl color. An excellent toy for gender play that is vibrant!

Use

The Sedeux Flare is a beautiful red pearl silicone dildo. With its flared base, it's O-harness compatible and anal safe. I enjoyed the Flare as a thrusting penetration toy. With water-based lube, this dildo feels amazing inside. It is smaller than some dildos so it can be great for beginning strap-on play or for individuals who do not feel comfortable with larger toys. With the gentle curve of the Flare, rotating the dildo while penetrating is easy.
The flared base can be used with the palm of your hand to make thrusting and movement easy and allow your other to roam or use something with vibration on the clitoris.

Material / Texture

This is my first silicone toy and I was really pleased with the feeling. The way the silicone is poured gives nice ripples within the pearl and creates a beautiful red. The Flare is semi-realistic having the same head and shaft features but not veined for those who enjoy a little more artistic toys instead of representational.

Phthlate free and with no chemical scent, I used the Sedeux Flare as a demo toy to show how to roll a condom on with your mouth and found no taste to the silicone.

Design / Shape / Size

The Flare has a smooth texture and with the use of lube it glides without friction, especially good for individuals with vaginal pain upon penetration. It has a nice flex to it without being jelly-like. Firm enough for thrusting.

This is a great toy for beginners, a nice design which is short and slender without ridges or bumps but with the gentle curve similar to the head of a penis. Since the Sedeux has no vibration function, it is easy to travel with. Though the problem is that the silicone easily picks up lint so finding a good carrying case is essential.

Performance

I have not personally played with the Flare using a harness (I still have to purchase my first one). But the Flare is harness compatible and perfect for other Sedeux harnesses. I enjoyed the design and smooth texture of this dildo. With lube it was the best thrusting toy. The head of the dildo is tapered for easy penetration and the length was the perfect size so that I didn't feel like I was wielding a sword!

Care and Maintenance

With the silicone Flare it is simple to clean, just warm water and soap and you can clean up right after. The only issue I had with the Flare is that it attracts lint like a fiend! So using a towel for drying can result in a messy dildo. The best way to avoid this is to simply allow the Flare to air dry standing up on its base. But if you have roommates like I do and don't want your dildo sitting on the bathroom counter, patting dry with a towel is a better option.

Packaging

The Sedeux is packaged in plastic, with three sections snapped together. Personally I feel the packaging could be more minimal. There is a simple glossy insert in the packaging, but I feel that it could do with more information. Better explanation of cleaning would be helpful.

Kynky - mine did have a little imperfection at the tip. I didn't find it to be noticeable when in use. And I just be careful to wash that area with care.

  • would this be good for beginners anal?
    • I have Joe Rock right now which is 1.25 in diameter. I see that this one has a bulbed head that gets slightly larger. Would this be too much for a beginner?
