Lover's super strap harness and silicone thruster - harness and dildo set by Cal Exotics - review by firekitten

The Lover's Super Strap Harness and Thruster seems like a good choice for those who are just getting into harness play. It's budget friendly, and very basic. There's not a whole lot to it, but for what it is, it is a decent choice. Certainly there are better options out there, as the nylon straps aren't all that comfortable, and I wasn't able to achieve a very realistic look. We chose this harness and dildo set because it is inexpensive, and just wanted to get our feet wet in the pegging arena. This harness certainly served its purpose in those aspects, however there's nothing to rant or rave about. There are a few things that could be improved on, but overall it's just an average set.

The harness itself is made with nylon straps, and has a soft fleecy pad where the dildo attaches. The nylon straps are soft to the touch, but when worn aren't incredibly comfortable. They do create a snug fit, however. The dildo is made of TPR Silicone and didn't have an offensive smell to it, but it does have the sticky texture that grabs EVERYTHING. It's pretty firm, and doesn't have a lot of give to it. The wavy texture along the sides aren't enough that you can feel them, they're just a design. The dildo is 6 1/2" insertable and 5" circumference.

The harness is made from nylon straps, think collar or leash for a small dog. They are relatively thin and narrow, and very adjustable. The harness is designed to fit waists up to 64" and I believe it definitely could. My own waist is about half that size, and there was plenty of material left over. I suggest cutting and burning the excess material to prevent fraying. I love the overall design of the harness, I can't imagine the thong design being very comfortable especially considering how uncomfortable the nylon is in this design. I think if the straps were wider it would be more comfortable. When I tighten it to fit correctly, the straps tend to dig into the soft fatty areas, but loosen it and you get a floppy dick.

Probably the best feature of this harness that is it uses an O-ring and is compatible for use with other toys. Considering the included dildo is made of TPR silicone and not able to be sterilized due to its slightly porous nature, it is great to be able to swap it out for something else.

The harness fit well enough, I wasn't worried about size since this harness is made to fit waists up to 64". However, I couldn't figure out how to achieve the position I wanted. It seemed to ride high, which may be solved by more frequent use and experimenting.

We chose this harness as an introduction to pegging. He's used some anal toys before, but never a dildo. The harness did the job well enough for the price. It could have been more comfortable, but it wasn't horrible. It's easy to put on, take off, and adjust. It was very easy to put the dildo in the ring with minimal wiggling. I wouldn't wear this harness for extended amounts of time though, the nylon just wasn't kind to me.

I thought the dildo would have been a perfect choice for us, because he wanted something not huge, and not resembling a penis. Well, it ended up being more than he could work with for now so we swapped in a different dildo.
