O2 Niagara is a beautiful place to go....

This is an extremely high quality, beautifully made toy that is worth the asking price. A lot of thought was put into the form and design and materials. Dual density dildos really make the difference as far as feeling.
Published:
Pros
Silicone, long, thing, dual density, easy to care for, transmits vibrations well.
Cons
I would like a thicker head , base, and shaft, otherwise perfect.

There are a lot of reasons to buy the O2 Niagra. It's platinum silicone, it's easy to sterilize, it's hypoallergenic, it's made in the USA, it will vibrate you, it is a multi-usage product, and it's from a company with a Green Policy - Tantus, a name synonymous with quality.

I bought the Niagara in Twilight, a purple and misty white variation of the product. I already own an O2 dildo, and adore it, so I wanted another one of these plush, skin like dildos in my arsenal.

O2 is the Tantus' version of Vixen's VixSkin. O2 is a dual density dildo with a firm inner core which they call the "muscle core" and an outer covering they call the "Pure Skin Layer". It does feel velvety to the touch, and it's firm, but extremely flexible. I can bent it in half, and it snaps right back to its original form.

Tantus packages it in a clear cube with the righting "the real deal" on it, refering to its skin-like texture. The product can be viewed from all angles. It's 7.65 inches tall and 1.45 inches in diameter. It cannot stand on its own thin base, it falls over. In the base, there is a hollow space for a silver bullet vibe, which is supplied with Niagara.(Always lube the bullet with water based lube so you can retrieve it. It runs on three watch batteries.)

The surface of the shaft does not have veins, the texture is supplied by a series of gentle waves. The head is the same thickness as the shaft, and it curves slightly for G spotting or P spotting. It is not an exaggerated curve, like everything on the Niagara, it is soft and gentle.

This is a harness compatible dildo, and it can be used vaginally, anally, or hand held for solo sex. In a harness, it's a bit bouncy, there is a slight floppiness factor there.

Niagara can be easily covered with a condom. It can be cleaned by boiling, it withstands temperatures up to 600 degrees Fahrenheit, it's top shelf dishwasher safe, and it can be treated to 10 percent bleach solutions as well as antibacterial soaps and toy cleaners.

Use only water based lube on Niagara unless its covered with a condom. Wrap your dildo to keep it clean and prevent it from melding with other silicone toys.
Experience
I did not like this much as a harness dildo, but as a solo dildo, and an anal dildo, it was fantastic. The texture feels human inside, holds body heat nicely, and allows the muscles to grip against the plush / firm dildo. I also love the color. It's hard to find cocks in Asian / Pacific Islander skin color shades, so most Island people are drawn to surrealistic colors.

One thing I did do was swap out my bullet, for a bullet with a pull cord. I also find that silver watch batteries work better than the alkaline (I found both types at Walmart's Watch dept). I don't let the bullet run over a half hour because it can burn out its little motor.

For more info check out the Tantus Website.
Follow-up commentary
My partner really likes this long, slim, realistic feel dildo in her. It's a beautiful product. I would love to see the O2 line extended.

Wow, you are a review writhing machine! I love your reviews. So, does this work well as a G-spotter? I'm looking for something soft and a bit lifelike that has the ability to WOW my G-spot. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the review. I'm coming to view you as one of my favorite resources for sex toy/ sexual heath info. You rock.

I am curious about the O2 line, and I would love to own one. Sadly, the budget dictates just one, so I would love to hear any thoughts you have about the differences between the O2 dildos you own. A little compare and contrast if you don't mind.

    Cheers.

I found IMO, that the Revolution was far more satisfying. It was thicker, plusher, was much nicer for vaginal walls to contract against. I did not think either dildo was a good G or P spotter.Niagara is a little too straight and narrow,Revolution is a bit too thick to G spot well. They are however, stellar dildos. The floppiness factor prevents good pressure on the G spot,

Throb and SIlky were better G spotters. Silky actually has a core similar to the O2 dildos-except it is an elastomer dildo. Throb is a firmer Tantus dildo, at a good price, but its smaller (which is good for G spotting, the G spot is 3 or 4 inches in, a P spot is about 4 and a half). I also like the Tantus G Force, which is just a silicone rod with a head on it, I have to review that.....I have a lot of dildos, I've had them for quite a while. I did some sexuality presentations for paraplegics at their meetings a few years ago, and diasability friendly toys are where I started.

One of Metis' favorite creations, very excellent G spotter and very easy for almost anyone to use.

Just when I thought I didn't need another dildo... thanks for the review!

Thank you so much for responding. I just received my Silky today (because of your excellent review) and I just LOVE it!! I did find it highly effective as a G spotter and I adore the squishiness factor. I've seen the G-force and I've been curious about it's effectiveness forever. It looks so thin and I've always wondered about it flexing allot because of it.

I wish we'd see a version similar to the silky made of VixSkin or the Tantus 02 silicone.

The G force has quite a nice long handle on it, and isn't too terribley squishy. Its great for partner play because its so easy to manipulate, and its a great quality product.

I think the Silky is amazing, and nicely priced, and easy to care for.

If you don't mind a big dildo, the Squirt does a great job of finding pretty much any internal "alphabet spot" in the general vicinity. I haven't tested out the G-force yet, but it's on my list of things I'd like to try.

Good review! If you're looking for a dildo like this with more girth, Tantus also makes the O2 Revolution. I've been dying to try that one for a long time.
