Thigh strap on - double strap harness by Sportsheets - review by Hazel

This versatile harness opens up the possibilities of strap-on sex. I personally use it for simultaneous intercourse between two women, which is a wonderfully unique sensation (fucking and being fucked at the same time?! Wow). I imagine, though, that this would be a very helpful toy for other variations of double-intercourse (a dizzying array of possibilities, really), as well as for certain populations: those with lower back pains/disabilities that make pelvic thrusting painful or difficult, women who desire strap-on sex but dislike the inherent 'maleness' of a standard pelvis harness, those who want to more easily self-pleasure by strapping it to a pillow (etc.) and humping away (much more easily done with this tube-shaped harness than with a regular harness), and those who want to expand their range of intercourse positions. It works best on thighs, but might be made to fit other body parts. Truly, this harness is remarkably flexible, and with a little creativity there could be many more possibilities for fun than I've listed here.

This harness is made of neoprene and velcro, making it vegan-friendly, environmentally low-impact, and easier to clean than leather harnesses. The only drawbacks are that it looks like a knee brace and smells somewhat like a shoe store... Don't let that put you off, though, since unless you're using these for oral you won't be smelling much of them at all (and I imagine the smell fades through repeated washing). The major plus side of this not-so-sexy material is its function - and in sex, a toy with good function is key to overall sexiness, so there you go. The material is soft, with a slight velvety feel on the outside, about 1/4" thick (with give), and has a slight stretch to it, which makes this comfortable, form-fitting, and unlikely to move during sex. Plus, it's waterproof (hooray!) so it's ideal for a wider range of wet activities...

Sturdily built, the simple design is both ergonomic and utilitarian. The two velcro straps will attach anywhere on the outside of the harness, making it extremely easy to adjust to different sizes (from small to medium-large) and positions. The O-ring is built in, and seems to be a hard but flexible plastic disc/donut. It can only accommodate toys up to 2" in diameter, which is enough for most people, but size queens should take this into account. On the other hand, toys with smaller bases (2" or less) will slip out - I used it with the Flame dildo and its 2" base came out during heavy thrusting. When I used it with the Magnum though, the wider base (~3" diameter) stayed put very nicely. Additionally, since the design ensures a snug fit to your body, double-ended dildos and the more realistic ones with balls cannot really be used with this harness. Otherwise, its design is straight-forward, user-friendly, widely adjustable, and sturdy.

The circumference varies from about 11" to 24" (plus up to 4 more inches if you stretch the material and only overlap the tips of the velcro with the body of the harness). Both I (a pretty small woman) and a more heavily built partner were able to use these harnesses, but for larger plus-sizes, be sure to measure your thigh before purchasing as there's a good chance it won't fit. For both I and my partner, however, it was easy to adjust so the fit was snug and secure.

I found this harness easy to put on, comfortable to wear, and readily adjustable. All you do is slip the dildo into the O-ring, place it on your thigh (or other body/furniture part), wrap the harness body to a snug fit, and smooth the velro straps down to secure. It accommodates any flat-based toys with bases larger than 2" diameter and shafts 2" across or smaller. If the dildo fits within these ranges, it stays secure even during heavy use. The harness works well in a variety of positions (different thigh placements: front, back, side, dual-action - plus anywhere else you can get it to fit on your body), though individual anatomies will determine how well variations perform. There is a small amount of constriction necessary for a secure fit, so make sure it is not so tight that your limbs start to tingle, no matter how caught up in the moment you are! ;)

Three cheers for low-maintenance toys! Since this is made of neoprene, you can simply soak it in some warm water with a little mild dish soap or detergent for about 30 minutes, use a soft scrub brush on any embedded fluids or stains, and hang to dry on a non-metal hanger/string/rack (metals can leave rust stains). Easy!
Storage is simple as well - the harnesses will roll up and secure at dimensions of ~ 7.5" x 4" x 1". You can store them in the clam-shell packaging they come in, or (like me) simply roll them up and keep them in your toy chest.
