Hottie xtra - dildo discontinued by Happy Valley - review by Robin Goodfellow

I've owned this toy about 6 months prior to this review. It took me about a month to finally get it inside me. And the next 2 months to get comfortable with the girth.

This toy from Happy Valley is there version of the short girth monster that every brand seems to take a crack at. It has a few distinguishing characteristics from its rivals. It's shimmering dark blue silicone that is very firm density wise. I usually prefer plusher silicone blends, but the firmness suits this toy well. It forces you to be malleable instead of it, which makes it stay true to size and maximizes the stretch. Don't expect to bear down and crush this thing a half inch smaller. It's really not gonna budge more than a 1/16th of an inch will full strength applied. Which is fun in itself. A futile game of tug-o-war. Squeeze and squeeze only to be at last decimated by this muscular hottie forcing your anal muscles into retreat and yielding in submission. These type of excercises are helpful to relaxing and stepping up to larger sized toys like this one. Its actually how I managed to accommodate the titanic head of this dildo. Just like when lifting weights, by using and working your muscles, they demand relaxation as well.

The Head of this toy is another unique factor when it comes to this genre of toy. This adds another element to an already intense toy. There is an Exaggeration of girth at the crown of the head, which provides you with relief when making it to the shaft. Also once upon the shaft the head has an upward rocker to it. The combination of the huge displacement and the curved mountain of head, makes it impossible to avoid firm prostrate pressure. You may feel like a badass managing that head into yourself, but once your cruising down easy street and tuck the full toy in; A frenetic state robs your cool, and you begin to jerk around like a knobbely knead girl. The head of this toy just can just crush your prostate. It's not a toy that your fishin around wondering if you got it. The sheer mass just carpet bombs the the whole of your insides, and its impossible to miss.

To add further insult to injury, the Xtra is equipped with a vibrator hole in the base. Its the standard happy valley formula, which I think is really handy. They have a wide hole to begin which tapers into a smaller vibrator size hole. This allows you to get your fingers in the wide mouth to grip the vibe and extract it. It works really good and helps you avoid the stuck vibe conundrum that you can often run into with these dildo/vibe combo toys. The hole also works really good to put a finger in for gentle manipulations once inside of you.

This toy is not for beginners. My girlfriend refused to use it, so no female perspective on this toy. Its for intermediates wanting to advance, and for advanced players only. It took me about a month to learn to handle this toy. I would use my Happy Valley Fun Guy plug to warm up. Its pretty girthy and the same firm blend of silicone. Than transition to the Xtra. I honestly thought I would be able to take it the first try, and at such failure wondered if I would ever be able to use it. Practice and patience prevailed. This toy has left me gaping and aching at times, but its taught me respect, and its widened my perspective of anal play.. No Pun. Ironically after becoming use to this, It's made a vast amount of my toy collection obsolete. Most of the smaller toys I have just feel strange and squeamish in me now, making me feel the same way. So my kit is finally getting trimmed down. The other shift this toy has facilitated is my introduction to fisting. Which is Awesome, and other fisters will agree. It never even occurred to me that fisting was more than a joke. Nope its the real deal, with a cult following for good reason. And I can thank the Hottie Xtra for helping me join the club.

The only downside to this toy is that it doesn't bode well for strap ons. It is so big and its flared base small enough, we've had a hard time rigging it, even with custom rubber O rings. So I wouldn't advertise it as a toy for the harness.

This is still on of our Ace's in the hole. We love it. The fun and challenge continues. It looks brand new many years later. There is something to be said for investing in quality toys.
