This toy was definitely designed
I’m enamored of this harness even though it has significant drawbacks. Odd, I know. The hook: it really DOES sit low on the body, placing my cock where it would naturally sit were it, you know, attached all the time. Not only does it sit low, but it’s designed to do so and therefore is comfortable, as opposed to other harnesses that I force into that position.
OK, now that that’s out of the way, there are some problems I have with it that will probably matter more to me in a few weeks when my initial excitement is over. The waist strap buckles are large and really not ergonomic—it wouldn’t have been all that hard to make them be slightly curved with the body. Instead, they seem to almost be curved the other way.
The dual-cock-holder-dealy-pieces are nice, but the inner hole (the one that would hold the base of a cock that is inside the harness-wearer) is extra large. The smallish cock I tried to use there for experimental purposes didn’t stay put even a little, the base was just too small. Of course, it’s a Tantus one, so that never helps. Also, these parts provide a lot of extra stuff between the legs that’s really only nice if you want to use it in that particular manner, which I almost never do. That stuff between the legs is mildly bothersome, but I'm getting used to it.
I actually like the
vinyl content, simply because it’s easier to wipe down. However, parts are still leather (the black parts, while red ones are vinyl), so leather cleaning care applies—saddle soap or gentle soap and leather conditioner every once in a while.
One of the snaps that holds an O-ring in place seems to have premature rusting/corrosion (and I really don’t like premature anything when it comes to sex play). I’m actually going to email the company, since it might be a defect that they’ll replace.
I’m not totally thrilled with those safety pins in the back, even though I did in fact choose this harness to review. It was the only
Outlaw harness without review, and hey, I wanted to try the design. I want to take them off, but they’re pinched shut so it will be a bit more of a project. But hey, they definitely won’t accidentally poke you mid-fuck (accidental poking is also a no-no around here. Intentional poking only).
I'm not going to comment on the Syd design in specific, since I'm not really attached to it. I care mostly about the basic harness design. Though it is cute. Those pokey back vinyl pieces might get irritating, though.
Back to that first point, though. I have never had such an easy and comfortable time of getting perfect cock placement. That's definitely worth something. That placement also makes general maneuvering easier, as it feels more right, somehow. I will definitely put up with extra metal and pieces and things for that. At least for now.
This harness is super cute and I'm glad to hear it holds up in more than just aesthetics. It sounds like a great fit with a little adjustment. Let us know how you feel about it in a few weeks.
I adore this harness, thanks for the great review!
I agree, I'm glad this is functional as well as stylish. I love the Jaguar, but now I want this all kinds of ways!
Enjoyed your review. I am a major fan of Jaguar but have always been interested in the Outlaw line. I have the Jaguar and have seen the Outlaw (Missy Z) . Both have their positives. The Outlaw has the inner dildos holder in place while a cuff is required with the Jaguar to hold a dil to penetrate the wearer.
I never thought about it before but "all that stuff" (material) between my legs, would probably annoy me. The leather on the Outlaw is more rigid then the Jaguar but dam...I luv the Outlaw look!
I definitely need to get an Outlaw harness. They're so beautiful.
