When I got this, it was in a regular old clamshell plastic package. Nothing too pretty, but it does let you see what's inside. Since it's "made in America" (according to the insert) it has to say it's for "novelty use only". Too bad - if only we Americans could be more open and frank about what these "novelties" are for! I learned more from looking up jelly toy info on the forums here than from the packaging on the actual toy.
