These chrome plated steel rings work well for adding different sized rings to your favorite harness. I know that with our pretty boi harness, some of the dildos where either too small or too big for the included o-rings. That was the major reason I purchased this o-ring set. I also used these as a gauge for sizing a metal cock ring for my self.

These o-rings are made from large gauge steel wire, bent to shape and welded together. Now, I am no welder, but I know a good weld with I see one. And these do not have good welds. Two of the three had gaps in the weld. Clothing and skin could get caught in the gaps, and damaged caused. Only one o-ring had a continuous weld. I know that you are not paying high dollar on these, but I would at least want them to be safe enough to wear and not have to worry about sharp edges.

The finish was sub-par also. The chrome plating is cheap and thin. If you leave these wet after washing them of, the finish will rust over night. I also had the finish on one ring flake off. But then again, these are not high dollar items.

These fit our harness ok. With the exception of the small size. It was just a touch too small to snap into the harness. Like I stated above, these work well for harness use. If you need additional sizes, or just a replacement. They would work better if the weld was of higher quality. I could see the gap in the weld and the exposed sharp edge causing some damage on your $100 silicone dildo. For piece of mind, I would not mind paying a few dollars more and get a much higher quality ring.

I also used these as a test size before spending big bucks on a steel cock ring. I already measured my self and came up with a 2 inch diameter. But I wanted to check with a cheap $1 o-ring before spending $40 on something that might not fit right. So for that, they worked good at saving me some cash. Thrown in the added benefit of being able to use in our harness, that makes them a good value.

If you wash these with soap and water, make sure you dry them off right away. The cheap finish does not enjoy being left damp. It will rust on you. If you get a set that has good welds, then rust would be your only possible problem to worry about.

These still have not amounted to anything more then back up o-rings for your harness. And even at that, I would be careful with the wielded joints being too rough for your delicate silicone toys.
