Prolong the pleasure and enhance the fantasies
Definitely a decent product, allows fantasies of double penetration to go farther than the mind without crossing relationship boundaries. Also lets a guy keep giving pleasure after he's finished. Though the quality isn't the highest, it definitely brings some new fun to the bedroom.Published: April 14, 2009
Pros:
Double penetration without the extra man, allows pleasure to continue after man is finished
Cons:
Straps don't hold to adjusters too well at first, ring can chafe because of straps
Sportsheets is the main harness manufacturer that we carry in the company I work for, with that in mind, I was mainly trying to go for something that was readily accessible. I'd seen this harness for the 9 months of work and have been extremely curious to try it out. Valentine's Day proved to be the most opportune time for me. A couple of weeks before my boyfriend came to visit from WA, I went ahead and bought the Menage a trois harness and tried it on to see how comfortable it was.
Starting with the ring that I put my cock and balls through, I already had to stop. The ring they chose as the initial ring was too small, so I took the liberty of changing it out with the largest they'd supplied. Yes, this harness does have the capability to change out rings as needed. It came with a large 2” steel ring, 2 medium 1 ¾” rings (one steel and the other is an O-ring), and 2 small 1 ½” steel rings (one is usable and the other is a fixed ring that holds the straps at your back).
This harness kit does come with a small silicone dildo, the Sportsheets Sedeux Flare. This actually isn't a bad little dildo, its 5 ½” overall length, it has a little bit of a curve at the tip to hit either the G-spot or P-spot. Though I do prefer Tantus dildos, the Sportsheets Sedeux dildo line is of a good quality. It's made with a medium density silicone, so it's not a goopy soft silicone, or a too firm harder silicone. This dildo is boilable, bleachable, and dishwasher safe. Remember to only use water based lubricant with this, as silicone based lubricant can cause harm to this product.
The harness itself is definitely interesting the first time it's worn. It is a thong style harness, so guys that hate that feeling, just stay away. This harness is created out of nylon straps, metal snaps, and 3 plastic strap adjusters (what are they called?). The quality of the harness itself is mediocre. Some of the metal clasps are not centered in the material so it loses a few quality points. It's set up as a small steel ring at the small of your back, permanently holding 2 of the straps and 1 of the strap adjusters. The 1 strap adjuster attached to the back ring goes to the strap that goes between the butt cheeks. The 2 straps go around the hips and after going through the 2 other adjusters, the straps are not permanently attached to the adjusters, they finish off at metal snaps that attach the top ring. The top ring is the one that holds whatever dildo is to be used, and a small piece of strap with metal snaps is used to hold the top ring and the bottom ring, which is the one the guy wears.
I'm not used to thong style, so it was a little weird, after changing out the rings to the 2” ring, I put my stuff through and pulled the adjustable straps (which go up to 60”) till they were holding tight. It did look awkward at first, but I went ahead and put the dildo that came with it in and saw the function past the look. I was excited and couldn't wait to try it out on Valentine's Day.
When the day finally came, I strapped my boy down to the bed with the Sportsheets bondage bed sheet set (review coming soon to a computer near you) and got the harness on and chose to put my Cyberskin Dream Dick on. Because it has no backing to hinder size, the harness did hold the dildo very nicely; however, Cyberskin was a bit too floppy and ended up tearing in the rings. I was able to go with the harness for quite a while, but it did get a little uncomfortable after a while. The harness itself was good, but the ring holding my member and balls chafed a little where the straps were.
As a gay male, the harness helps if I am wanting to have a much longer session, letting me go on my own, than I can add a dildo to keep going when I'm not up. For a straight couple, the guy can use this harness in the same way, or he can use it to double penetrate the female. The representative of Sportsheets gave another idea, if actually engaging in a Menage a trois, to put a dildo in the ring on the back, and let the second woman hump/ride from behind.
Though I'll be using this harness again, I am looking forward to trying a male harness from Aslan Leather.

Experience
The nylon straps don't hold well to the adjusters at first, but after using the harness for a little while, it's easier to keep them from sliding and getting loose. As for the chafing, it does get a little annoying, but it's fairly easy to get past in the heat of the moment. If you (the male) are especially sensitive down there, you might want to decide against this product so it doesn't hurt your skin. When it comes to washing, I would suggest hand washing because nylon wouldn't do well in the dryer.

Double Penetration for the female bodied couple
-
So I would really like to try double penetration with my girlfriend but I don't have a dick so I need to get a harness that will accommodate two dildos. So far I've only seen the vacuum lock options (link) which aren't very high rated. Are there harnesses for men that would support a second dildo in place of a dick? Theres also a this nifty attatchment, which, while not high rated in itself, could present some possibilities. Do you think it would be possible to secure a lighter second dildo to the balls of the goodfella as shown? link

Another thing you may consider is combining a traditional harness with a feeldoe. The feeldoe can be worn anally (link) so you would get enough space between your front and back dicks.
I'd love to hear how it works out! -

EF doesn't carry this, but we bought ours at a local shop. It is jelly, so a condom must be used.
I must add that we bought the Double Penetrator for our first foray in double penetration. I found it much too tight to be comfortable, and we soon bought a male harness, which we both prefer.
Now we use the Double Penetrator on another dildo for dp masturbation, as one does. She likes it because it has a flexible core, which can be adjusted to arrive at the most comfortable angle. It can also be moved up or down on the shaft of the other dildo to vary the depth of penetration.
My only worry about using this toy with another is that we may be violating the Geneva Arms Agreement, but it is a fun combination.

Double Trouble?

I'm quite interested in the idea of this kit, but the reviews are terrible... Is there anything else that would be better? Or any other feed back on it?

Or, take a basic harness like the Latigo, remove the back pad, and it should be adjustable to fit around an erect penis.

I think this is one of those cases where it didn't work well for the one(s) that reviewed it, but it may work well for others. I mean one of the main problems that Marty and his partner had with it is that it looked funny to have a dildo coming out above his penis. I think that is sort of the point with this device, so you need to get around how it looks at some point and check it for functionality. The other reviewer said the cock ring was too small, and the way to relieve that problem is get an additional cock ring or rings in a larger size so that it will function well.
CW gave some good advice as well, and I will add that I have no trouble using my inexpensive three-strap harness to hold a dildo above my penis.

Thank you for viewing Menage a trois for two harness set – harness and dildo set review page!

I was hoping you'd review this one first
Good review!
Aww, thank you Sammi! ^.=.^
I wonder - would a woman be able to wear this and insert 2 dildos? Or maybe that wouldn't work so well.
Nice review.
Awesome review!
So detailed thank you, I love this.
