The Magnum is part of the Fun Factory's dildo collection that they call "Stubs". Stubs are their larger dildos, the ones that are deigned to be longer, thicker, girthier and have more attention to detail. All Fun Factory dildos are born in Germany and travel to their various destinations around the planet. The Magnum has pretty big shoe (harnesses?) to fill, to become such an international superstar.
My international superstar arrived in a red and carmel box, with multilingual proclamations on it extolling that Stubs dildos were "novelty and not for medical use" and how they were ergonomically shaped for hand held use, anal use, and vaginal use. Inside the box was a sample of their lubricant "Toyfluid", which I found too thin for my tastes, and a catalogue of some of their newer products (they are venturing to B&D).
The Magnum is beautifully appointed, tall at 8 inches,(all but a half inch is insertable), thick at 5 and 1/2 inches circumference or 1 3/4 inches in diameter (if you are buying O rings try 1 3/4 and 2 inches) and smooth. There are no veins, bumps or bulges, although the head of the dildo is nicely shaped for P or G spotting.
It's more firm than flexible. There is no "floppiness" here. It's a dildo you can really squeeze your muscles around like a boa constrictor.
It can be warmed in hot water or cooled in an ice bucket before insertion. The only thing you should not due is use a silicone based lube on the Magnum; unless you cover it with a condom first. I had no trouble pulling a condom over its Magnitude either (use the larger condoms).
In fact, one condom with a thin layer of lube, and then another condom on top of that condom with some more lube, gives a more natural skin like sensation feeling when inserted; you get a nice, rolling friction going. The Magnum is absolutely smooth like marble, and the dildo is colored like - well mine is "blue marble".
Clean up is a snap. Since it's platinum silicone, it can be boiled for 3 minutes, washed in anti bacterial soap, toy cleaner, or top shelf dishwasher safe. I like to store mine wrapped in paper towels in a plastic bag.
Like all pure silicone toys it's phthalates free, non porous, and will last almost an eternally if you take care of it (and don't throw all your silicone toys in a box together and let them meld together like some crazy dildo love-in)

Experience
I used the Magnum first as a dildo, and it G spotted nicely if not inserted to its full length. It also was very filling! The handle is a nice touch. I also used it in a harness. What was awesome about wearing this Magnum in a harness was the tri-cornered base kept it from moving, and was firmly anchored. I have not yet tried it anally, its a bit big for my okole puka!

This is still one of my favorite dicks! I love its firmness, heft, and girth, and so does my GF. This is really a magnificent silicone dildo.

Magnum by Fun Factory - girth inconsistency

labyrinthwombThis site list magnum girth as 5.5" circumference and 1.75" diameter. This is not true - I just measured mine at 4.75" circumference at the base of the shaft and at the head, and even thinner around the middle. So unless you're attempting to insert the flared base, this is not a particularly girthy toy.
I got confused about this when I started looking for something a bit thicker than my magnum, looked at the Mikey O2, and it's listed as having the same girth! Not so! -

Oh boy. I love Fun Factory's toys, but I'm sort of convinced they're all a bit coo-coo over there. I don't know if it's the name or just all the wild designs, but I always imagine the "Fun Factory" not dissimilar to the Wonka Chocolate Factory.

I'm a little curious if you can expand on the firmness for me. You say there's no floppiness - so is it more the firm texture of Tantus' Squirt dildo? Or does it have more of the slightly squishable texture of Fun Factory's Bandito or the vibes like Galan and such? Definitely not as floppable as the Share, correct? xD
When I mean firm, I mean firm. No squish factor. Feels like fresh bone from a cadaver. And by that standard, a young one, no osteoporosis. Firm enough to hit someone with it and leave a bruise.
This looks like a great dildo for pegging.
I love the idea of feeling "full" but not really keen on the way most dildos has ridges and edges.
The bulbous head looks gorgeous and it must feel amazing rubbing on the prostate with it's angle.
