Sedeux Flare - Good All Around Team Player
This small and curved red friend is high quality for the price, and offers an all around good experience for anal or vaginal stimulation. It will last you years to come and is a wonderful basic addition to any collection.Published: October 13, 2011
Pros:
Color, Price, Silicone cleanliness, texture, shape
Cons:
base size
This is a little sleek cutie. It is really good. It's a smaller dildo, and is very great for both anal sex and vaginal stimulation. Even though it's small, the curve adds some good gspot stimulation.
This is a silicone dildo, which means you can clean it with antibacterial soap and warm water, or with a 10:1 water and bleach combination; you can also boil it for 3 minutes, or stick it in the dishwasher. The silicone also has a great consistency, there's very little drag, and it's very smooth. Also, it's springy, you can bend it most of the way in half, but it bounces immediately back. It's the perfect mix to me.
The color is gorgeous, the red swirls and spots are random and beautiful, they catch the light lovely even in dim lit nighttime escapades.
The downsides to the Sedeux Flare are the fact that it's a lint magnet, and sometimes we wish it had a bigger base and was just a pinch longer. The base is so small and thin that our Flare has popped out of the harness several times.
An interesting side note, there seems to be (at least in my toy) a divet at the top of the dildo's head, like a urethra. Which seems where the mold ended, and while it's realistic, it doesn't necessarily fit into the design. Also, you have to take special care to make sure the little hole gets clean.
I've been using this dildo for 7 months, mostly for strap-on lesbian sex, and will probably be using it for years to come. It doesn't show any wear.
If you have any dildos that are already like this, nothing particularly stands out, and I wouldn't recommend adding this. But if you need a replacement dildo, and just want something basic, average size, and great quality for the price - I recommend the Sedeux Flare.
(Warning: Do not use silicone lube with your silicone dildo, it will degrade your toy!! Sadly, I've accidentally used silicone lube on this dildo, but it survived! It's not as shiny, but it's very much intact and working. Hardly, (HARDLY!) any difference at all. Just be careful, but I think Flare is a sturdy boy and will last a long time anyway. Never use silicone lube with your silicone dildo.)

Experience
As a lesbian with jealously problems, dating a bisexual, I liked that this was non-realistic. It has a bulbous head (which feels great), but didn't look like a penis. This could be a plus for a lot of people.

Is it just me, or does this toy look "skinless"?
-
I keep looking at this dildo since the shape is really nice. But the color seriously freaks me out. Between the red and the swirling, it just makes me think of exposed muscles and veins!
Am I the only one that thinks this, or is there anyone else that sees a skinless cock here? -
What has been seen cannot be unseen.
I've never seen that before you mentioned it.
Damn you! -

would this be good for beginners anal?
-
I have Joe Rock right now which is 1.25 in diameter. I see that this one has a bulbed head that gets slightly larger. Would this be too much for a beginner?

Anyone?
