Sexy Ride in Red

Overall, I would say the Jaguar is a must have for a woman who is interested in a well made leather harness. And the cherry is extremely sexy in comparison to the plain black. The Jaguar will take care of you whether you intend to give or receive (or switch it up).

Use

This harness is simple, comfortable, and nicely made. It is basic enough for beginners and durable enough for advanced users. Obviously, it is more suited for people who enjoy leather. Those looking for a vegan harness should check out another model. But for those of us who enjoy the feel and look of leather, this is a great choice.

Also, sorry guys, but I'm pretty sure this would not be comfortable for any of you to wear. This is definitely a harness designed with women in mind.

Material

The Jaguar is made of leather, and metal, of course, for the buckles and snaps. The leather is buttery smooth, making the harness extremely comfortable. It is softer than any other leather harness I have felt. This is great if you are planning on wearing it for a long amount of time or underneath clothing.

It has the smell of good leather, which I love, but some people tend to dislike. If you find it sexy, as I do, the scent will be an added bonus. If not, you may want to look elsewhere.

The leather should not be submerged in water, as it is not waterproof and the metal will rust from excessive exposure to moisture. It is suggested that you clean the Jaguar by wiping it down with soap and warm and water. It should be stored away from moisture and humidity as much as possible.

Design / Craftsmanship

The harness seems durable and well made. I love the jock design, as I find it much more comfortable than the thong design. Not only does it leave you open for a lot more "possibilities", it also causes less irritation.

Both the leg straps and waist strap are adjustable, which allows for a decent variety of fits depending on your preference.

The Cherry Jaguar has both a hole in the front and an O-ring to hold toys in place. The standard O-ring is 2 inches. I also purchased a 1.5 inch, which is more appropriate for the toys we own. The smaller ring is a bit more difficult to snap in, but still works. Although, I don't think any rings smaller than 1.5 inches would work with the harness.

Also, the harness is not compatible with "realistic dildos" (i.e. ones with balls). And, of course, make sure the base is wide enough to be used with a harness when buying a toy.

There is also the added bonus that the O-ring sits low enough to provide clit stimulation.

Size / Fit

I am approximately a 28 or 29 in men's jeans, and in order for the harness to fit me securely I have to pull the waist straps in to one of the smallest settings.

My wife, on the other hand, is approximately a 26 or 27 waist in men's jeans. Even with the straps tightened all the way there is a bit of slack. It still fits tightly enough to be functional, but not quite as snuggly as we'd like.

Overall, I would say the fit is decent for smaller people, but it definitely is built for people with a little more meat on their bones. I would say that is the only drawback of the harness actually.

Although, it is nice that the excess straps have a place to loop through, so they are not just flapping about.

Performance

I will start out with, in my opinion, the greatest part about the harness. The toys sit perfectly in place for clit stimulation. From the first time I put this on (paired with the Tantus O2 Revolution), I knew Aslan got it right. Even without thrusting, the mere weight of the toy provided stimulation.

Another on of my favorite traits of the Jaguar is the soft, smooth, texture of the harness. This makes it extremely comfortable, especially for long sessions.

After adjustments are made the harness stays in place, even with a lot of movement, which means no awkward re-adjustments in the heat of the moment.

The buckles and straps mean that it does take a bit longer to secure than some other harnesses might. But once it is set up, you are good to go.

The smaller O-ring is a bit more difficult to snap in than the standard 2 inch, but it works, and once snapped holds the toy firmly in place.

We have used this harness in many positions and have not had any problems so far.

Care and Maintenance

The care and maintenance is relatively simple.

To clean it, wipe it down with warm water and soap. Make sure it is thoroughly dried before putting away. I understand that leather cleaners can also be used on this harness, although it is not necessary.

When storing, make sure that you have a dry clean area to place it. This will help prevent rusting of the metal components.

Packaging

The product comes simply in a plastic bag. There are no instructions included. Although the harness is pretty self explanatory, I think it would be nice if a diagram was included with basic instructions. Especially considering the fact that there is a hole AND an O-ring included. Most other harnesses have one or the other, so the recommended toy positioning would be nice for beginners.

Experience

My experience as a giver (i.e. the wearer of the harness), has been wonderful. It has comfortably stayed where it is supposed to, even through a variety of positions. The stimulation provided by the harness allows for both the giver and receiver to climax together, even without extra toys or stimulation. Although the design of the harness definitely allows for that, if you'd like.
Follow-up commentary
Well, first off, let me say that I wish there were a "I like it less than I did", as opposed to just "Still Like It" and "Don't Like it Anymore", because that's just about where I am with the cherry jaguar.

It is still a nicely made harness. It still looks and smells and cleans up great. And if my wife and I were a bit on the bigger side, it would probably still fit just fine too. The problem is, the harness has stretched. After some vigorous use, the harness no longer lays quite right on either of us.

My wife is anywhere from a 26-28 in men's pants. I am a 28-29. When she put the harness on originally, she had to pull it all the way in and there was still a tiny bit of slack. I had to pull it almost all the way in, and then it sat snuggly. Now, on those same settings, it is way too loose on her, and slightly loose and uncomfortable on me. It is ok, until using it more vigorously. Then the lack of control that comes with the looseness becomes really evident.

So, I don't want to trash the product, especially since stretching and breaking in is a normal part of leather. But, I didn't take that into effect when originally wearing the harness. It is still usable, just nowhere near as comfortable or snug.

So, if you're on the smaller side (under a 30-32 in mens jeans), I would say skip it. Unfortunately the Jaguar is not made for smaller people.

Oh, thanks for sharing the info about it stretching! I'm a little larger than the sizes that this harness is listed for, so maybe it would work for me after all. Sorry it's stretched so big for you two!!

    • Is there a reason the Cherry Jaguar is listed as a separate item and not just a color choice for the Jaguar? (The other Jaguar product page shows it comes in black and silver.)
