Slim Jim - dildo discontinued by Happy Valley - review by G&L

The Slim Jim is strap-on dildo made by Happy Valley with a curve and firmness unlike any other dildo I have come across. We bought this toy for anal prostate stimulation (which it does very well), but it could also be used vaginally or for female anal penetration. The firmness of the toy and the curve allow it to enter fairly easily and solidly hit the prostate (just make sure to use lots of lube!). The dildo has a flared base, making it safe for anal play, and is compatible for strap-on use. The dildo is only 6" long so, while we didn't have any issues with loss of length once it was put in the harness, larger partners could have this problem. Its size makes it good for beginner/intermediate anal strap-on use. While the dildo works great in missionary or guy on top anal play, it was a bit firm for doggy-style. Although we have not used this toy vaginally, its length and shape should make it work well for g-spot stimulation as well. While using this toy, always ensure it is properly lubricated with a water-based lubricant only, as a silicone lube would damage it.

The Slim Jim dildo is a firm silicone dildo made of non-porous, hypo-allergenic, latex free silicone. The dildo is firm enough to keep its shape while inserted but not too firm to be uncomfortable. The dildo has no smell even after multiple uses and washes. The flared base of the dildo is strong enough to be used in a harness. On the top side of the dildo there are small ridges that can be felt during use and enhances the dildo.

The Slim Jim dildo is 6" long with 5 1/2" that can be inserted, with a diameter of 1 1/4". The flared base of the dildo has a diameter of 3" allowing for anal or strap-on play. From the base the dildo has a slight curve upwards with a head that imitates the head of a penis. The curve is natural in a way that it allows for stimulation of the prostate and g-spot. Since the diameter of the dildo is so small some people will find this toy easy to insert with little to no warm up stimulation. It is also a good size for beginners new to pegging or anal play. Though the dildo has a head that imitates a penis, that is where the similarities end. The version that I bought is silver with a marble design with ridges on the top side and a smooth underside. I would not recommend leaving this toy out when you have company as there is definitely no hiding what this toy is and what it is for.

This toy works really well as an anal toy to hit the prostate glad in males. The curve and the firmness of the toy ensure that there is constant pressure on the prostate. However, for some the firmness might be too much, especially in certain positions (ex: doggy-style). The toy is harness compatible and worked great for us, staying firmly in place for multiple positions. My wife's only wish is that there were something in the base for stimulation, either a wider base or some kind of vibration.

Proper care of this dildo is simple. Just wash it with hot water and antibacterial soap, and you are good to go. The size of the dildo allows for condom use, which would make clean up even quicker. It can also be sterilized in boiling water (10 minutes). Just be aware that the material it is made of attracts lint very easily, so make sure you wash it before and after every use. When storing this dildo, ensure that it is not placed in an area that could get too hot as this may damage the dildo. We store ours in zip-lock bag to keep the lint that clings to it to a minimum. Since this toy is made of silicone, only use a water-based lubricant. Absolutely NO SILICONE LUBES as you could damage it.

When you receive this toy, you will find it to be packaged in a very minimal clear plastic bag. Once you open the bag, you will not be able to store the dildo in it. I recommend a zip-lock bag for storage.

This toy did everything and more that we were expecting from it when we bought it. We were looking for a toy to used in pegging/strap-on play and this dildo works spectacularly. It was able to hit my prostate in both the missionary and the guy on top position. Though I like the firmness of the dildo, I wish it were just slightly more flexible cause I found to be slightly uncomfortable in the doggy-style position. My wife really enjoyed using it on me and her only wish was that it had more stimulation for her.
