Packaging:

The Slim Jim dildo from Happy Valley arrived in what I thought was unusual packaging for a sex toy, a clear plastic bag with a cardboard top. It struck me as being more suitable to a cheap kids toy rather than a toy of adult nature. In all my experience with toys purchasing I’ve never come across anything similar to it and it being a silicone toy I expected particularly good/sturdy packaging. The cardboard strip at the top of the bag does feature some product information though, like how to clean it and what lubricants are suitable to use with it.

First Impression:

Seeing the Slim Jim in person for the first time it is about as slim as I expected and has a nice amount of curve along its shaft. I ordered the silver colour option and received one that (in my opinion) is alot nicer than the one shown on the product page. In person, mine is far paler with more silver tones and no black or dark streaks at all. The silver really shimmers in the light. On close inspection it almost looks glittery in places. The back of my dildo is actually one uniform colour and the front of the shaft has all the shimmer and variation in colour. The texture of the Slim Jim matches the colouring of mine in that it is very smooth along the back while the front of the shaft is textured in a way that is very loosely based on a pattern of veins. The head of the Slim Jim is small and realistic in shape.

To the feel, the silicone of the Slim Jim is relatively firm for a toy this slender. In your hands it can easily be bent and twisted but internally I find it surprisingly firm for a slim silicone toy (which works well for g-spot stimulation) The base of the dildo is suited for use with an O-ring harness and the size and shape make it perfect for pegging and stimulating the prostate without having to accommodate too large a toy if you are a beginner to anal play.

In Use/ Experience:


In use the Slim Jim is surprisingly stimulating for a toy of its size. When I first bought the Slim Jim I was used to playing with what would be considered smaller or petite toys and didn’t actually find it to be all that small, having moved on to bigger and bigger toys in the last few months I still find that this is a toy that comes out for much regular use. The firmness of the silicone and generous amount of curve in its shaft combine to make it a very decent g-spot dildo. While every woman’s anatomy is different, for me at least I found this is the toy that curves in such a way that it can’t fail to stimulate the g-spot, it works well for g-spot play in a way that few other silicone toys can. The base of the dildo is both small enough and flexible enough to be quite comfortably gripped while thrusting. The base also sits nicely into O-ring harness (with a small O-ring) and looks well worn in harnesses like the Rodeoh.

In my few months of owning the Slim Jim I have been so impressed with its high quality build and material and perfect curve that never fails to please, that It is one of those few toys where I plan on buying a ‘back up’ just in case. It is the perfect warm up toy too, slim enough to comfortably take at the beginning of a play session and it offers enough g-spot stimulation to get you ready for something bigger. Despite its petite stature it can still stand alone for a satisfying session too. As a toy I can’t see my collection being without, I’ll be investing on the flesh coloured version as soon as it is back in stock.

Material/Care:


Made of silicone, the Slim Jim feels high quality, is scent and taste free, skin safe and of course completely free from both latex and phthalates. It is generally recommended that silicone lubricants are not used with silicone toys. I would recommend using a water based lube as in my experience even a drop of water lubricant goes a long way with the Slim Jim. It is incredibly easy to wash after use with soap and warm water. Specialised toy cleaning wipes can be used instead or if you want to sterilize it after use it can be boiled for 3 minutes. I keep mine in a zip-sealed bag after use to keep it dust and lint free as like most silicone toys it attracts lint.

After a few months of use I found myself so impressed with the Slim Jim as both a warm up toy and use alone G-spot toy that I have invested in the Beige version of the Slim Jim too. It really is one of those toys that I can't imagine my collection being without and it is easily one of my most used toys.
