So-so.

The cheap price is appealing, considering the cost of most harnesses. However, if you are of smaller frame, you may not feel comfortable wearing it as it feels quite loose.

Not really 'one size fits all'

The New Comers Kit was, indeed, my introduction to strap-on sex. I chose it for the price (very nice for a kinky college student's budget), and the fact that it was a combo of a dildo and harness, when you could easily pay that price or more for two similar items seperately. I cannot say anything for how the harness and dildo actually perform in action--because I was unable to use them together.

I do not have a problem with the dildo. It is sturdy and made of silicone as it says, and has held up well to repeated cleanings after being used for solo play (my first attempts into anal exploration). The weight of it felt good while I was wearing it, and it didn't look ridiculous, which is nice when you have a lover prone to sudden giggle fits like mine.

My problem is with the harness. I know it is supposed to be one size fits all, which may be the problem. I have a relatively small frame, and no matter how I tightened those straps, they always seemed a bit too loose and I was afraid to use it for fear the whole thing would fall off mid-act and make an already nerve-wracking experience much more so. I found the straps far from easy to adjust. Also, simply wearing it about, I found the padding behind the o-ring far too thick, making it stifling and dampening the feel of the dildo against my pubic area and thus ruining the effect.

For people of slightly larger frames (or more steady hands, possibly), the new comer's harness may do just fine, and the dildo is good quality so it is a good beginning to my toy box. Still, I'm back to looking and almost wish I hadn't bought it.
Follow-up commentary
While I'm sure this is a great starter kit for many people, it really wasn't for me. I finally tossed out the harness, and while I think the dong is a great starter (esp. for anal), it's really too small and limp for satisfying vaginal play.

Sorry it didn't work out for you. Sounds like the dildo was a find though, we could use a bit for information about the specifics like a comparison, for example: How tiny is your waist and hips? How easy is this to care for? How large is the dildo and what are it's best features?
