SpareParts Joque harness review

The SpareParts Joque Harness was the third dildo harness I've ever tried, and it was definitely the most unique and interesting. I generally go for black leather and buckles -- you know the type, I'm sure, all black and silver and hardcore looking. This harness, however, was light purple and is made from the same type of material used for bathing suits, which makes it super soft and smooth. It felt really nice on my skin. It also comes in a little drawstring pouch made of the same material, so storing it is easy and if anyone catches a peek at the bag, the contents aren't obvious.
The SpareParts Harness, instead of having a strap for your waist, is velcro. It is a bit more difficult to adjust than a buckled strap, because you have to reach around to secure the strap and it can be annoying to do by yourself. Despite this, it's sized to fit a whole range of people, which is a definite plus, and even if securing the velcro is harder, it's easier in general to put on than any other double-strap dildo harnesses. The plastic buckles on leg straps can dig into the front of your thighs a little, and they can feel uncomfortable, but aside from that it feels really nice and does not look as awkward as other harnesses I've used.
The SpareParts Joque Harness fits both double-ended dildos and traditional dildos as well, and if you are using single-sided there is a convenient little pouch for the base of the dildo, which helps if you have one with either a flared base or life-like model. Instead of a metal O ring, it stretches to allow a range of sizes without being too big, which is especially good for me because it fits both my double-sided and my Happy Valley Realistic Dildo, which is much wider. The pouch also keeps the base of the dildo from chafing against my pelvis.

Perfect harness for Pack and Play. Works as an STP harness due to the open back, and holds well. Quick switch a dildo in for play! It works so well! I don't know any other harness that is as comfortable, versatile, and works as well.

So, it says 2" in the description. However, what it doesn't say (since it's stretchable) is whether this is the minimum or maximum diameter? If it's the maximum, then what is the minimum (i.e. what is the diameter of the ring before it stretches at all)?
Also, I find it odd that for the harness/dildo kit 25% off deal, there are only 2" dildos recommended - what about the rest that would work with this stretchy ring? How could I get the kit 25% off with them? -
I'm not sure what the minimum diameter is. As for the sale, there isn't a way to get the 25% off the dildos not included in the kit. Since the kit is the choices between these featured items, you can't substitute them unfortunately.

I measured ours and the interior diameter of the ring unstretched is about 1.25" so that would be the minimum.

Durability

Just wondering how long this lasts on average? Being that it's on the expensive side for me, I wouldn't want it to start tearing/wearing after a few months' use.
Also, I'm assuming it can just be thrown in the laundry machine with the rest of my clothes, right? -
We've had ours for almost a year now and there are no signs of tearing. I'm sure it will last us several years. In terms of cleaning, this is from the SpareParts website:

Hand or machine washable (preferably in a wash bag)
Low temperature tumble dry or lay flat to dry
We hand wash and lay flat to dry.

That Ring, Is It Stretchy? (Related to Joque Harness)

My boyfriend and I are looking for a harness that will accommodate a dildo of 2.5 inches in diameter. I know it says the ring is 2 inches, but does it stretch enough to hold this? All the harnesses with replaceable rings that look good enough to use are out of stock right now. We're looking to order fairly soon, so any help will be appreciated! Thanks!

The Joque™ should fit the toy, but you'll need to do use our special bag trick to make it fit. You can see how to do the bag trick in this quick video - Using Toys with the Joque™ Harness. Since this is a larger toy than we recommend using with the harness, you should take extra precautions to remove the toy from the harness after you use them with so that they don't over stretch the elastic ring.

Unfortunately because my boyfriend's vacation is this week we went with a different harness: the Vegan Jaguar by Aslan Leather. Too bad because the Joque is waterproof and I'm pretty sure this one isn't, but oh well, ç'est la vie. Maybe another time we can get this one as well for some shower time fun! Thanks again! ^_^

Joque Harness dong attachment?

I just ordered this strap, I am still waiting to get it in the mail but I was wondering if anyone can suggest which double dong to use with it? I am confused on if I would use a dong that is double sided or two separate ones, any recommendations would be great!!!

It's really up to you!
Any of the strap-less strap-ons we have which are less than two inches in diameter (which, I think, is all of them) will fit into the Joque. I would recommend using a dildo that is two-sided as using two separate ones may cause issues when the bases are rubbing against each other (just awkwardness issues; no physical ones).
Some of the neat double-ended dildos we sell include the Feeldoe line and the Share line. We've used double-ended dildos with our Joque with no issue; it actually helps hold and support the dildo really nicely! -

I know a lot of people had disliked the white/grey rectangle that adorned the front of the SpareParts harnesses in the past. The new waistband design looks so sleek and sexy!

You know? To be honest, I had planned to, if we got the Joque harness, just use my good ol' seam ripper and undo the stitching holding the label on. Provided that was how it was attached. But I like this better than it was before yeah! ^_^

Little Su Tulip vibe

strapONwifeI really want to get this harness, but I'm seeking something for me to have in me while I don my dong and play with my hubby's ass. Babeland recommends the Joya Little Su Tulip, but I'm worried that because of the open design of the Joque, it might fall out. Anyone have any experience or suggestions? Thank you! -
See other post. I wonder how Babeland recommends using the Little Su- the idea sounds nice, but with the power button positioned about where the dildo's base and harness pad is I think you'd have problems keeping the vibrator on.

From what I can tell from the description (and the lack of options) the only Joque harness size sold here is the size A. Am I correct in assuming that or am I just too stupid to find the size B? Will Eden Fantasys be carrying the B size?

Joque harness and the Feeldoe dildo

MattHi! I'm going to buy this harness to use with the Feeldoe dildo (although feeldoe is said to be harness free, my GF can not keep it stable without a harness).
So my first question is will the Joque match the Feeldoe and the second is how my GF is supposed to put it on? -

Your girl-friend should put the feeldoe in first, then step into the harness and thread the dong through the front opening. On the Joque, the front opens like men's shorts.

I tried this out at the Dinah Shore weekend, and it was sooooo comfy! I didn't know it was waterproof though - that's awesome!
Is this harness sturdier than others? I always end up running into issues with harnesses the more active things get...
Gus: It is a little loose sometimes, my dildos generally hang down a little instead of being very close to my body. My leather harness is a little sturdier, though this is much easier to use and put on.

They make packers, right? This harness might be a bit too bulky for a packing dildo, and I wouldn't want to wear it around -- it's comfortable when it comes to sex, but it would probably chafe if you just wore it around. For packing, I'd go with a product like this: Mr. Right packing strap
Cezium: Actiolly, i do want it for sex, not for packing and since the prostheses that i have is made with a tab so that it can be glued to ones body..i just wonder if this would work since it has that tab?? dunno, i really like the "Crown harness" from stormy leather since it seems more sterdier but the thing i like about this one is that is water resistant... don't know what to do..
Where does the tab stick out? Can you find a picture of it online? It's hard to tell without actually seeing it.
How large a person would this fit? How small a person? You said a wide variety, but I'm just curious just how wide.
The description says: The A-model of the Joque can accommodate sizes between 20" and 50". That sounds about right.
