Theo harness small - g-string by SpareParts HardWear - review by Eva Schwaltz

The Theo harness is made by SpareParts HardWear, and it is a g-string style harness which means it only has one strap that goes between the legs. This is a harness geared more for the female user because the narrow strap can be rather uncomfortable for the male genitalia. It is great for strap-on sex and pegging.

I have the size A which fits people with 20" to 50” hip sizes, but you can also get the Theo in large which fits people with 35" to 65" inch hips. The strap that goes around the hips is adjustable on both sides with Velcro, and little sliders to help keep it snug. The waist band is stretchy which is nice to keep it from moving around so much. The strap between the legs is also adjustable, but it uses snaps to fit to your desired length. They are a little difficult to open and close, but this means it won’t fall apart on you during use. This strap is 1” wide, and the hip straps are 2” wide.

The Theo has a built-in O-ring that stretches to accomidate your dildos. The O-ring looks like it can stretch up to 5” in circumference, anything larger than that, I feel like I’ll break it. If you like to use dildos that are larger then that, you should look into a harness that has a larger O-ring or interchangeable O-rings.

There are two flaps which sit behind the dildo so the person wearing the harness won’t feel the rough edges from the base of a dildo. The flaps can open up if you and your partner like to use double-ended dildos. Another neat feature about this harness is that it has a tiny triangular pocket with a Velcro closure on the back of the harness, which can hold condoms, packet of lube, spare batteries, or a bullet, but not all at once.
The harness is rather bulky for wearing under clothing, but I don’t feel this takes away from the functionality in any way.

Theo is made of Poly-Spandex which feels absolutely silky smooth. This is the material used for many bathingsuits, so you aren’t limitted to dry land like you would be with a leather harness. The material is also vegan friendly if that is something you look for.

It is recommended you wash the Theo when you get it to prevent color staining. You also shouldn’t use oil based products while using this harness. It can be washed in the washer, or you can hand wash it, then let it hang dry. It comes with a little storage pouch that is just large enough to hold the harness. Unfortunately you won’t be able to store your favorite dildo in the same pouch.

The Theo harness performs much better than what I was expecting. Once the Theo is secure, it stays in place. It doesn’t easily come undone in use. There is no rough edges or metal parts that come into contact with the skin. This means there is less of a chance for your skin to be chafed or cut.

I love this harness for it’s adjustability and comfort. It allows me to get an exact fit quickly and easily. It holds my Tantus Acute dildo beautifully, and anything slightly larger will work nicely as well. This is simply a great harness for pegging and strap-on sex.

This harness was just collecting dust so I sold it on the classifieds. It turned out to be not what I was looking for. It performs very well, but the straps are very thick and bulky. The fact that it is fully machine washeable is a real highlight for this harness.
