The Echo is a high quality silicone dildo, which can also be a vibrator if the bullet is inserted. When using the bullet, put a drop of lube in the slot for it,which will make removing the bullet from the toy easier. Without this, the toy creates a vacuum and making the bullet difficult to remove.

The toy can be used with a harness, which is a plus, and is large enough to use vaginally but small enough to use anally. Overall, a very versatile toy!

The Echo is made of Tantus' silicone which is 100% silicone with a polished-like finish. It is smooth and firm. The main feature of this toy are the ripples along the shaft which are not rigid, but large enough you can feel them while in use. The silicone is non-porous, phthalates-free, hypo-allergenic, and latex-free

I was considering a few of the Tantus Dildos, more specifically the Charmer, before finally settling on this on the echo. I was looking for something with some texture, but not too realistic (veiny, and the like). My intended use for this toy was to use it anally, but it also works well as a normal dildo, as I found when using it on my girlfriend.

The Echo is 6 1/2" long, with 5 1/2" of that being insertable. It also has a decent girth, at the widest(the ripples) is 1 1/2" in diameter, about the size of your average medium sized butt plug.

It is also O- Ring compatible for use with harnesses, but I have not tried this toy with one, so I can't comment on how well it works with one.

Overall, the Echo is about the size of an average penis, both in length and girth. I would suggest that it is an average sized toy for vaginal penetration, but a bit large for beginners anally (The Charmer I mentioned earlier is just as long, but slimmer at 1" in diameter). That is not to suggest it is massive, but it does take a little bit of working up to to be comfortable back there.

The ripples are very nice as they aren't too rigid, but large enough you can still feel them. I chose the copper color for this toy, simply to change it up, and it has a very nice orange like hue. It has a bit of a swirl to it as well.

The toy has a flared, round base, making it safe for anal use.

The bullet uses watch size batteries, which is a bit of a pain. It has one speed setting and can be turned on/off with the touch of a small button.

I bought this toy to use anally as I was seeking something that could offer a more full feeling, but also with some texture to it to feel while thrusting in and out. I did need some warm up with a smaller butt plug (I used the Tantus Ryder) before using the Echo, but the wait was well worth it, The ripples really could be felt and the toy did fill me up right away. It also hit my P-Spot, which was an added bonus which eventually lead to one of the best orgasms I have ever had. I learned to be patient and that the work to slowly massage the P-spot was well worth it!

The toy works great with or without the vibrating bullet, each giving a different sensation. When using this toy without the bullet, you can feet the definition and the ripples better, but the with the bullet, you get that added sensation of the vibrations. However, since the bullet is located at the base, the majority of its power is felt in that area. The vibration does follow the toy all the way to the tip, but is not as powerful. I don't think this is too much of a problem because if used anally, there are more nerves around the anus, which if fully inserted, that is where the vibration is focused. if used vaginally, the same principle generally applies.

I did find the bullet to be average both in power and in noise. This toy would be even better with a more powerful/upgraded bullet. I tried using the bullet that came with my Bad Boy Prostate massager, and it fit well into the slot in the echo. This bullet was a bit more powerful and gave a stronger sensation. I do wish Tantus offered a bullet that had a few different settings as this would enhance the toy ten fold.

As with all silicone products, it can be disinfected/sterilized boiling it for 3 minutes or by throwing it into the top rack of your dishwasher or by using simple soap and warm water. Silicone is a very resilient material and will not break down and will last a very long time if properly cared for.

Remember to remove the bullet from the toy before washing this toy as it is not waterproof. On that note, also do not use the bullet with the toy where any water is involved (shower/tub/ pool, etc).

Use only water based lubes with this toy, as silicone lubes will cause the toy to deteriorate.

This toy is no different from most of the Tantus line and comes in a simple plastic box. It doesn't offer much instruction for use, but allows you to see the entire product without removing it from the box, so you know exactly what you are buying.
