The purple people eater
The Vibrating Champlette is a reliable pick, however its head and lack of texture might bother some. While I'm glad that I have this in my collection (mostly because it spruces it up), I enjoy my Vixskin toys a lot more and I would recommend saving your money for one of those beauties if you're unsure about purchasing this one.Published: August 22, 2010

The Vibrating Champlette by Vixen Creations is... a good choice. Not my favorite, but definitely a quality pick. It is a relatively soft silicone (not Vixskin). It's definitely a little squishier than Tantus' silicone, but it's not as squishy as Vixskin.
AND it's purple! A beautiful deep marbleized purple. While you can't judge its function based on color alone, you can take into account the fact that it's curved upwards, and it has a pronounced head. Although its purple-ness is definitely a plus. The head is a little less than 1 inch in length (measured with my imaginary ruler).
Honestly, the ridge at the top bothered me. It just hit the wrong spots for me. I much prefer the more streamlined design of the Lonestar. I also strongly prefer vixskin, although I certainly can't fault the toy for this. It also has a slightly raised bump on its underside which is definitely noticeable (in a good way) during use.
There is also a bullet hole that can hold the included bullet. Unfortunately my bullet was defective, but I held a vibrator to the base and it still transmitted vibrations well. This toy also works well with the Tantus Suction Cup.
A few misc. pointers: Never use silicone lube!! Also clean with soap and water. To sanitize, use a 10% bleach solution or boil it for 3 minutes. I store this toy upright in its original packaging, which is a standard Vixen Creations tube.
If you like colorful silicone dildos, this is a must-have. Otherwise I'd say skip it and save for a Vixskin toy because they just feel so much plushier.
I'm giving it 4 stars because this is a well made product, it performed as expected, I do like it, and it's purple. I also didn't rate the noise because my bullet was defective.

Experience
I'm really having trouble with this review because I don't really know what to say about this toy. At the end of the day, I think it's average. It doesn't have interesting protrusions like the Wave or the Tiger, and it just isn't as plushy as Randy or the Lonestar. I'm glad I have it, but it just didn't wow me. I liked it a lot, but I like others a lot better. That being said, if you think this toy is for you, I would highly recommend it because it's made very well.

Could you use a different bullet in this dildo? Like, take one you're much more fond of and plug it in the end of it?

Yes. As long as it's a "standard size" bullet, it will work. Just put a dab of lube on it to make it easier to get out when you need to clean everything and put it away.

Good to know! I was wondering this myself. I wonder if the Pirate's bullets would fit, since they aren't the exact traditional bullet shape...
