While other reviewers have commented that the General works better anally, I find that he works ok vaginally, even though he is at the limit of the size I can accept comfortably. Thick and unyielding, for me the General is best used as a follow-up after some introductory work with a more moderate sized dildo (like the Tantus Hank). With this big boy, a slow and steady pace works best, as he is just too thick for serious thrusting, at least for me.

I haven't worked up to trying the General anally. If you or yours likes a large dildo in the bum, this could be the ticket.

This is a quality, well made silicone dildo. Large and solid, there is little chance of tearing it. The surface is silky smooth and relatively non porous, which makes it easy to clean. There is no noticeable smell. This product is a pleasure to use.

Long and thick, this hefty dildo should appeal to all size lovers. The General appears on the Tantus webside under the heading "For Him", which tells you something about it's size.

The shaft has three distinct "lumps" in it, including the head. The General is not symmetric, as it is thicker front to back than side to side, which is not obvious from the product photos. The asymmetry may be by design to be more useful for p-spot stimulation (supposition on my part). The thickest part of the head is about 1 7/8" (front to back) and 1 3/4" side to side. The middle "lump" is perhaps just a hair larger measured front to back, and about 1 3/4" side to side. Finally, the "lump" near the base is actually over 2", at 2 1/8" by my eye front to back, and 1 7/8" side to side, when measured roughly perpendicular to the shaft. The oblong base is approximately 3 3/8" front to back by 3" the other way. Standing on a table top and measuring perpendicular to the table, from table to tip is 7 3/4" , which is the advertised length. Measuring with a tape measure held firmly along the outer edge (the longer one) from the very base to the very tip is 9 1/2" following the curve. The base is a good 3/4" thick, and has the Tantus logo embossed in it. The curve is pronounced when the General is placed standing on a table (as seen in the product photos), with the front of the tip overhanging the back of the base by about 5". All the measurements provided here are estimates made using a metal tape measure. By any measure, the General is hefty.

Because he's large, the General is certainly not discreet. This is probably not the dildo you want TSA to see on the X-ray machine.

My husband bought this dildo for me on a whim because he thought I might occasionally enjoy vaginal play with a dildo larger than the Tantus Hank, and he was right as it performs well in that role. I haven't tried the General in a harness, but it appears to be harness compatible, though I suspect it might prove to be too heavy to stay in place. I haven't tried the General for anal use, which I suspect it was designed for. Just don't tell my husband, so I can keep the General to myself!

Silicone dildos are relatively simple to care for, and can be cleaned up with soap and water, boiled, or just put in the dishwasher. Be sure to use a water-based lube, as other types of lube might damage the silicone material. Though this dildo is thick and solid, you don't want to tear it so don't let it near your four-legged pussy. We store the General in our toy chest with all his friends.

The packaging must have been unremarkable, because I apparently threw it away.

When I need serious, squirt-inducing thrusting, I turn to the Tantus Hank. On the other hand, when I need a slower, more sensual size fix, the General gets the call. I recommend this dildo to anyone who wants to be really stretched and filled up from time to time. Of course, everyone's anatomy is different, so your results may vary.

This product works well for me for vaginal penetration, when I want to be stretched near my limit. I don't have any other dildos of similar size to compare with, because this one fills the need (ha ha) perfectly for me. My husband particularly enjoys using it on me. I only gave the General 4 stars because the Tantus Hank gets me off faster, as it's more suitable for serious thrusting.
