I got this toy intending to use it for both solo and partnered play. It only got to solo play, and stopped short. I'm not usually one to knock toys, especially ones as high quality as this one, however different strokes for different folks right? I have a fairly sensitive pussy and this toy, instead of being seductively enticing (how it looks), ended up being... too much of a good thing.
I used this toy with vibe (included) to get off for the first time, and I was surprised (as soon as I took it out of the package), by how thick the "head" is. Somehow, because of the way it's shaped, the head ends up being the biggest part to swallow; while the other ridges aren't as thick. Maybe some people like a lot up front. However, I would prefer to be 'worked up' to the bigger stuff.
That said, this toy could be used as a "happy ending" to a session already started. If you're looking for that really full feeling, or if regular thickness vibes don't do it for you, this could be your man.
The material is high-quality silicone and, well, just pretty to look at. The purple silicone is marbled and smooth. Maybe that's why I got it. I had seen it in stores before, and just couldn't get my eyes off it. Apparently my eyes are bigger than my, ahem, vulva.
It is made of a thick harder silicone, which is nice because it stays firm (mostly, more on that in a minute); but not so nice because, like I've been saying, this guy is a little big for me. The "head" or first ridge is especially thick, because it's solid (vs hallow) silicone. It doesn't give as much as I'd like a first-insert to. The base ridges are big waves, no subtlety here. The base has the hole for the vibe, but that compromises the stability of the dildo. Without the vibe, it bends easily toward the base. Not something you want to happen during a hard fuck.
This toy is not dying anytime soon. Mostly because it's one piece of molded silicone. It is harness compatible, which is how I originally intended to use it. However, my partner is even more dildo-shy than I am, so I'm not sure if Echo will ever get to debut in our house. Could be good for a partner who is not satisfied by others, and looking for the "next step."
It has no mechanical parts (except for a removable vibe), so wash with warm water and soap. You could even soak or boil this baby, because its silicone it can be sterilized.
The package is a disposable display case, which I threw away awhile ago. I don't remember it much. As I recall it didn't come with any directions or suggested uses, but just a short description of the company and materials on the outside.
Nice review. I love Tantus products, but I am super wary of ridges. Shudder. I may be acting overly sensitive, but they frighten me.
That's too bad. I really love my Echo, but then again I really love texture.
I have a feeling I would respond similarly to this as you have, given that I really didn't like the hard ridges of the moulin rouge. But the rouge is enormous. And I like glass so maybe hard and small is ok.
This is such a pretty toy but I worry it would be too much for me
