My boyfriend and I already own a harness, but since we decided that we wanted to start playing with larger toys, it was also time to get a new harness that allowed a wider range of dildo sizes. I began my search for a new harness, and although I looked at more high end leather harnesses this one caught my attention not only because of the price, but also because it seemed to offer a larger dildo compatibility than most of the harnesses on the site. In fact, other than the "Double-ring Harness with Dildo",also by Cal Exotics (which appears to be almost the same item, except for the dildo which is included), this seems to be the only type of harness that offers the "two ring" dildo base function. I was very interested to see just how well the "two ring" worked out, so I decided to order the harness and find out for myself.

The "Uninhibited 2 Ring Harness" is best suited for beginners, moderate players, and those who aren't looking to have an extremely rough session. I say this, because the straps are made out of nylon which could potentially tear if too much force is exerted. For more advanced users I would suggest a more durable harness made out of a stronger material such as leather. I think that this is the perfect harness for the beginner, as it is easily removable with the plastic clips, and it gives you and your partner the ability to try a variety of different sized dildos.

The harness is a light purple color, while the clips are a darker purple color. This harness falls into "G-string" variety. In the front of the harness there is a triangle of suede like material upon which the "two rings" are centered. The "two rings" are connected to three nylon straps, two that go around the waste in opposite directions, and one that goes around the crotch and behind to connect with the other two straps in the back. The harness has three plastic easy open clips which are positioned on the left and right side of the harness, and on the back. The packaging says that the metal on the harness is "Nickel Free, Non-Tarnishing," so you don't have to worry about it ever rusting, nor should it ever have to be polished.

The nylon material can feel a little scratchy if it rubs against bare skin, and could possibly cause a rug burn effect over a prolonged period of time if the straps are not properly tightened. The material on the triangle in the front of the harness is soft to the touch. The triangle is stiff, so that you don't have to worry about it bending or curving as you thrust, and it keeps the harness in the spot where you placed it.

The package states that the harness is "designed to fit most strap-on toys with the 2 interlocking metal rings that cinch to secure device." The rings have a diameter of 2 1/4" so any ring with a diameter that size or smaller should work well with this harness. The "two ring" feature utilizes two large metal rings that are connected, and can either be pulled away from each other to fit smaller dildos, or pushed together to accommodate larger ones.

I think for the price this harness is made very well. It is not an extremely durable harness, but I believe that it could hold up to moderate exertion, and last for a good amount of time if properly cared for. The straps are adjustable at each one of the clips, allowing the user to customize the fit of the harness to fit them correctly.

The plastic clips can dig into skin if the harness is too tight.

The package states that the "Uninhibited 2 Ring Harness" is "One size fits most," and I have to agree with this statement. I loosened the straps as far as they would allow, and was surprised by just how big the harness could be adjusted to be. Next, I tightened the harness as much as possible and it was also able to be made quite small. I, myself, fall somewhere in between the two and felt that I had a lot of adjust-ability left if I needed to make it either larger or smaller.

The triangle in the front of the harness is placed as the package states: in an "anatomically correct position." I found that this area could easily be made to sit higher or lower on the pelvis based on how you positioned it and tighten the strap in the back.

Both my hubby and I were very pleased with this product. It does exactly what we were hoping that it would: accommodate a large variety of toys. Personally, I wore the harness over a pair of shorts, so I found it very comfortable, but to someone who decides not to wear anything underneath it, it may not be quite as comfortable.

I love how easily adjustable this harness is, and the fact that you can easily tighten or loosen the straps mid thrust. It is also very easy to put on and take of, as all that is required for either of these options is the opening of one of the easy to use plastic clips.

Securing toys is also a breeze with this harness, as all it requires is that you loosen the straps near the "two rings" and place your toy of choice into the area where the "two rings overlap." All that is required to make sure that your toy stays in place is to tighten the straps and with them the rings. The harness holds the toy in use in place, and as long as it is properly adjusted the toy and the harness won't be moving anywhere during play time. I found that the "two ring" system actually worked a lot better than other kinds of attachments, because it allows you to adjust them to fit snug around the toy you are using.
The harness held up well for a variety of different positions, and levels of thrusting.

The harness is easy to clean, unless it gets very dirty in the heat of passion. When I need to wash to harness I do so with soap and water. The metal rings can easily be wiped down as well. The triangle of suede like fabric on the front of the harness is a little harder to clean as this area could possibly become stained. I got some lube on this area and washed it off before it dried with soap and water, and that seemed to work very well. Were something to dry into this area I don't know how easy it would be to remove it.

The harness comes in the typical plastic packaging which contains an insert inside. The insert has a set of instructions on the back which state:

1.Adjustable harness with 2 ring design with quick release clasps and extension straps for additional comfort and fit.

2.Slip strap-on device through the two interlocking rings and allow the tension of the waist straps to hold the device securely.

3.Adjust the nylon straps to complete the secure and comfortable fit. The extension straps may be used to allow more room to the harness insuring a pleasurable experience.

The insert also states that it is a "Dual ring design for interlocking support and dexterity. Fully adjustable t-back harness with extension straps.

The insert has a diagram on the back which shows you how to adjust the straps and put your toy into the harness.

There is a blond woman on the front and back of the insert as well as the California Exotic Novelties logo.

If you and your partner would like to get this harness, but would prefer to get a harness dildo set, I suggest taking a look at the "Double Ring Harness with Dildo," as it appears to be a very similar (if not the same harness) that comes with a dildo to start your collection.

The "Uninhibited 2 Ring Harness" insured that my boyfriend and I had an enjoyable time. My favorite features about this harness were the fact that it was so easily adjustable, accommodates most toys, and that you don't have to remove it to change toys. We will be getting a lot of use out of this toy, and the unique features which it possesses.
