Magnum - strap-on dildo by Fun Factory - review by Hazel

I just love this dildo, and use it vaginally whenever I'm craving a little something extra. This is a great toy for strap-on use, since its base is large enough to stay put in an O-ring *and* is shaped to fit snugly on the giver's pubic bone. I don't prefer anal, so I haven't tried it with the Magnum yet, but I can only imagine it would be just as divine anally. Orally, it's fairly long and is flexible, so it could be quite fun to deep-throat! I personally think this toy is suited for every occasion, but that's probably just because I'm slightly in love with it.

The Magnum is a silicone toy, and has a smooth, vaguely velvety texture. The texture is part of what makes this dildo so divine, in my opinion - smooth, but with enough grip to make its presence known! It is firm enough to keep its form, but flexible enough to bend nearly in half, which makes it fun for various positions.
The smell and taste are so slight that I hardly notice them - the same subtle silicone flavor as you'll find with other toys of this sort.

It's beautiful! I own the blue version, and when it first arrived I had to marvel at how simply gorgeous it is. Marbleized, majestic (towering over my other toys), I had to go show it off to some friends. It really is very pretty, though using it is a hell of a lot more fun than looking at it (and that's saying something)!
I originally got this toy for a former partner, who craved something bigger than the other toys I own, and it quickly became one of my favorites. It wasn't as big as I had expected (there are a fair amount of conflicting specs online), but it's big enough for me! The first time my partner used it on me, my only thoughts were, "Oh my god..." over and over. I'm a fairly petite girl, and it was big enough to fill me (and so well!) but not to any sort of pain edge, not even close. Its shape is very pleasing, too - the head is defined enough to stimulate my G-spot perfectly, and the rest of the shaft is deliciously smooth.
One last note - I have to disagree with the specs listed for this toy, based on my own measurements. Its total length, including base, is about 7.5", and its insertable length is more like 6.75". Likewise, I found the circumference to be 4.5" around the shaft, and 4.75" around the defined head. For harness compatibility, know that the base is about 3" across at any given point, and the shaft is about 1.5" in diameter.

It's simple, really. I love this toy because it feels SO GOOD going in. The size, shape, and texture make it a match made in heaven for me. I haven't had a chance to try it with a pelvic harness yet, which is where the base's triangular design will really have a chance to shine, but I did use it with the Sportsheets Thigh Harness - it stayed put, was firm and easy to maneuver, and pleased my partner! What more can you ask for?

This is like any other silicone toy - easily cleaned with warm soapy water, in boiling water, or in the dishwasher's top rack. I especially appreciate its smoothness in this arena, because there are no little nooks and crannies that store fluids, so it's very easy to thoroughly clean. Once cleaned, I store mine on a shelf, upright on its base. The only consideration is the lube compatibility - never use silicone lubes with this toy, only water-based ones, like my favorite Sliquid Organics Gel.
