When small flaws unite

Overall, the harness in this set alone is worth buying the kit for. The dildo is an excellent dildo once you get past the problem (or better yet, never encounter the problem) of anal penetration. It made an excellent first harness for my partner and I to start with, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking to try out a good harness.

Use

The problem I've come across with this harness kit is that, while I'm not new to anal play, the dildo that comes with it isn't exactly the most friendly of shapes. I can understand that they made the end to resemble a penis, in that the shaft is smaller around than the tip, but this dildo's tip is also harder and larger than a typical male penis and makes for a difficult initial penetration. This dildo is probably more intended for vaginal penetration than anal penetration, but if you are to use it for the latter: lube up well.

The harness itself seems to fit the female form very well. It stayed on my partner comfortably throughout use without becoming loose or restricting. She was quite pleased with how much it felt like she had her very own penis attached to her.

Material

The material of the harness is soft and comfortable, for the pouch and pad, and the straps are the kind you would typically find on a backpack. As it turns out, they don't seem to chafe or get uncomfortable with heavy use like I would have expected from seeing them.

The dildo itself is very nice and safe. It is made out of silicone that's both extremely easy to clean, and feels great when lubricated and used for penetration. While it isn't a very realistic feeling, it's still quite erotic. The silicone allows the dildo to be hard, but still flaccid enough to bend around loosely. It isn't the best for initial penetration, but once you have it inside you the rubbery support of the material allows the dildo to fit nicely inside you; without feeling like your partner is doing some strange act of contortion, that a real penis would scream out in pain at.

Design / Craftsmanship

The harness is designed well enough for the price range. Again, the straps are the same as backpack straps both in texture and clasping methods. So the only thing holding them at the correct amount of slack is friction, but it performs quite admirably with friction alone. It fit my partners curved body almost perfectly, although the vibrator pouch seemed to ride a little too high to allow clitoral stimulation.

The dildo, as previously stated, was a nice mid-level of rigidity with an excellent texture and general feel.

Size / Fit

The straps on the harness have a wide range of adjustability, and I imagine would fit a wide range of people. The two leg strap system seems to work in favor of the harness here in that it allows each side to be individually tuned. There's also a strap that wraps around the hips, and can be continuously adjusted to whatever size you need. With three separate and continuous adjustments available, the harness should have no trouble fitting whoever wears it.

Performance

The harness performed more admirably than I ever expected it to. It was easy to use, easy to adjust, and, most importantly, was completely out-of-mind during a sexual encounter. It held the dildo exactly where it needed to be held, and made my partner really feel like she knew what it was like to be on the penetrating side of the relationship.

The dildo on the other hand did not provide as spectacular of a performance. With being too big and flaccid for initial penetration, it hampered the mood at first. Once the dildo was inside me ,and I adapted to its size, everything was smooth sailing. Since the dildo in this harness can be easily replaced while still keeping the harness, I feel this isn't really a put too much significance on.

The included vibrator is very powerful but very loud. I've found it's most useful and fun when used separately from the harness because of the location issue as well as the distraction it creates.

Packaging

This kit didn't come with any real instructions, other than to use a water based lubricant. Thankfully, no real instructions are needed to understand and operate this harness. It's as easy as it could possibly be.

How did you find the texturing? Pleasantly stimulating, too much, not noticeable?
How was the base? Was that what was too floppy, or was the shaft of the dildo too floppy as well?

The texturing was pleasant, but not really stimulating. It was smooth and kept heat nicely. The lubricant didn't hold as well in it as it does it other toys/a real penis though.
The base of the dildo was enough to hold it in place well through normal thrusting. I've had it slip out once but that was when trying to bend it at a 90 to the harness. The dildo itself was reasonably rigid at the ends, but seemed to bend in the middle more than I personally would have liked. It wasn't something you could just lube up and thrust in without either a bit of preparation on the victims part, or helping guide it in with your hands.

    • I did just get this yaaaay! anywho, I was wondering, for the harness itself, how should I clean it? Just do spot treaments, hand wash, or cold and gentle cycle in my washing machine?

      I did even have a friend dare me to take it to the dry cleaners.

      I couldn't find any info in any of the reviews or the Tantus website. This is my first harness, so I want to make sure I don't make a beginner's mistake with this.

      It's already arrived, and I checked the packaging and didn't see any care instructions for the harness, just for the dildo it came with.

      I was thinking about purchasing either the Flame harness kit that has a pocket for a bullet or the Joque. Which one would be better for clit stimulation?
    • The Joque has a pocket you can put a couple bullets into.
    • I prefer Missy-G strap-on compared to other strap-ons I have used in the past. I use mine with the Goddess dildo which has a bullet vibrator that attaches to the dildo. I find this combination the best compared to the strap-ons with a pouch.
