Femme it up and strap it on

A pretty, feminine harness, perfect for girly-girls who still want to strap on. If you want to feel sexy and still look femm-y, this is perfect. It's not a good candidate for sharing a harness between partners or if you have a wide range of toy sizes that you want to fit into it. But if you're happy with a one-person harness that has a static o-ring, and you want a comfortable, feminine harness, this is a good bet.

Use

Finally! A pretty, feminine strap-on harness! Not only is it cute and flattering and femm-y, it's super comfortable, convenient and easy to use. The positioning of the dildo attachment point and the built-in pocket, which comfortably fits a clitoral vibe, offer a very pleasurable experience for the wearer. There are no straps or buckles to fumble with which adds to the sexy factor and makes it easy and fast to put on which will appeal to beginners and advanced users alike, for different reasons. Possible drawbacks include the static, non-interchangeable o-ring, non-adjustable sizing, stretchiness of the material. The femm-y styling will probably deter female-to-male gender-players, transgenders, genderfluid individuals looking to achieve a more masculine appearance. If you're looking for something versatile, pass this one up. But if you're looking for comfort, femm-y style, sexiness and ease of use, this is the harness for you. A beautiful blend between the ease of RodeoH's standard brief style harness and feminine styling for those who want a comfortable, stylish harness without appearing masculine in the slightest.package

Material

The harness is made of a cotton and spandex blend. It's very soft to the touch. The lace is not scratchy or irritating in the least and doesn't seem to affect the stability of the harness at all. The material is just a little thicker than most panties I own. It smells about like most fabrics, nothing especially noticeable. I wouldn't recommend using this in the water since the fabric is likely to become water logged and less stable when wet. There is a firm o-ring in the front, not just a cut out in the material, which lends to the stability of the harness.

Design / Craftsmanship

The harness is shaped like a pair of bikini panties. The center panel features the built-in permanent o-ring to hold a dildo. A floral lace panel stretches over each hip. The waist band is wide and flat with the Rodeoh name in very subtle, black on black block lettering. I was thrilled to discover that this lettering is much less obvious than it is in the official marketing photos. I can't find a single flaw with the craftsmanship. The stitching is all solid and good quality.
fingers This photo shows the tips of my fingers through the o-ring.
There is a black panel behind the o-ring. I believe this panel is flexible enough to accomodate a strapless (Feeldoe, Share, etc) strap-on dildo but I haven't tried it.
The o-ring is 2". My 1 1/4" diameter Tantus Acute dildo fits just fine with a little wiggle room but not enough to greatly affect stability. My girlfriend's larger Tantus O2 Mark, at 1 1/2" diameter, fits a little more snuggly. The thicker base on the Mark adds a bit more stability. Overall, we prefer the O2 Mark over the Acute with this harness.

Because it's fabric, there is some give to this harness, especially when withdrawing. If your partner is tight or is using their muscles to squeeze the toy, the material will tend to give so the dildo doesn't pull back with you quite as well. This leads to decreased pressure on the wearer's clitoris and decreased feeling. See more in the "experience" section on this.

The panel translates into a pocket which I tried to show in the above photos that extends below the o-ring to the seam in the crotch. This panel is PERFECT to fit a clitoral vibrator. See the "performance" section for more on this.

The hallmark of this harness is definitely it's feminine style. Perfect for femmes who want to top with a strap on without the masculine appearance.

Size / Fit

on empty
My hips measure exactly 29" around just below my hip bones and this 27-29" size harness fits really well. It's not too tight or too loose. It only gives as much "muffin topping" as my regular underwear which isn't much for me. I'm very comfortable in it. It doesn't constrict or pinch at all but still feels snug and secure.
My harness measures, unstretched at 28" around the waist and 22" unstretched around each leg hole. From the top of the waist band to the seam in the crotch which forms the bottom of the pocket, my harness measures 7".
The cut fits my butt very nicely, without fitting like a high french cut but less coverage than a boyshort style.
The natural downside here is that this harness is not adjustable. Each size will only fit a small range of people. This means if you have two partners who want to switch off topping with a harness, unless they are very similar in size, you will most likely need 2 harnesses. See more in the "experience" section for our feelings on this.

Performance

As I mentioned in the design section, a clitoral vibrator fits perfectly in the little pocket created by the backing panel behind the o-ring. I have a Mimi 2 which fits perfectly. I use it with the buttons facing down so the vibrations are more concentrated on my clit and also cause the base of the dildo to vibrate which then stimulates my partner too.
mimi peek In this photo, you can see the tip of Mimi, inserted in the pocket with the buttons facing down.

mimi inside This photo looks inside the pocket, showing Mimi secure in the pocket.
When worn, the pocket holds Mimi very comfortably and doesn't move around too much or slip. I was worried that it would push the dildo out too much but instead it actually seems to add stability and isn't uncomfortable or too snug at all.
With Dildo This photo shows my Tantus Acute dildo in the o-ring of the harness. Mimi is in the pocket but you can't see her at all.

on angle In this photo, Mimi is in the pocket, and as you can see, the harness doesn't bulge or stretch awkwardly at all.

Care and Maintenance

The harness comes with a red drawstring pouch, suitable for storage and travel. half in

Cleaning is pretty simple. It can be run through the washing machine. I'd recommend gentle detergent and a gentle cycle. A lingerie bag might be a good idea. Hand washing is also an option. It's recommended that you hang it to dry. I have kitty cats that fur all over everything so I have to lint roll after it dries. Like any cloth this won't last forever but, according to RodeoH, good care will extend it's life.

The harness also comes with the dog tag with the Rodeoh logo on it as pictured in the "use" section of this review.

Experience

I love. Love. Love. Love this harness. I'm not sure I'll ever go back to a traditional strap style ever again. True, the versatility is minimized with this design but the sexiness, the comfort, the ease of use, the pocket for the vibrator, all MORE than make up for this fact. Frankly, I've always been a little funny about sharing my harnesses. Weird, when you think about it, since my partner and I share our dildos and vibes all the time, but harnesses have always felt more like underwear, and we don't wear each other's undies. (Unless it's, like, a laundry emergency or something!) So we aren't too perturbed by the fact that we can't both wear the same harness in this case. Plus the lacy, femm-y style of this one doesn't work for my girlfriend, but it's PERFECT for me. I love to top with a strap on, but it has absolutely NOTHING to do with wanting to look like a boy or be a boy. Contrary to the title of this review, it's not even really about wanting to have a penis, it's just about sex. It's about being able to pleasure my partner while my hands are free to wander. It's about the super sexy motion of our hips rocking together and actually doing something besides just bumping up against each other. And, with this harness, unlike it's predecessors, I can put a vibe in there and grind my hips against it and, for the first time in all my strap-on experience, I came while wearing one. Simply, awesome. Plus, the vibe hits the base of the dildo and makes it vibrate which my partner can feel.
The panty style of the harness is way less bulky than strap-style harnesses which allows for a more close, intimate experience with my partner. It also makes the whole process of strap-on sex a lot sexier since you don't have to take time to adjust straps and fumble with buckles which always slightly kills the mood.
We used this harness first with my Tantus Acute dildo, pictured above. Then we tried with our Tantus 02 Mark. The Acute has a much smaller, thinner base which makes it a bit less stable. The smaller diameter of the Acute also makes it a bit wobbly. It's by no means unworkable though and I probably wouldn't have any complaints at all with the Acute in this harness except that the Mark is so much better. The base is thicker and wider and the diameter is bigger which makes it much more stable. At certain angles the top of the base of the Mark digs in to my pubic bone but that's just positioning. Not really the harness's fault.
The harness worked equally well with my MiMi in the pocket and without it. It was very comfortable either way.
When withdrawing, if there is drag or my partner is holding on to the toy with her muscles, the base of the dildo pulls away from my body because the material has a good amount of give to it. This isn't really too much of an issue and doesn't seem to cause problems in use. When I first used this harness though, it felt strange because I'm used to traditional strap-style harnesses that hold the dildo very firmly against my body. For those that like constant contact of the base of the dildo, this harness might not work for you. For me, it didn't really affect the vibrator in the pocket, so it didn't detract from the stimulation I was getting.
I would highly recommend this harness to anyone looking for a comfortable, feminine-style harness and, based on my experience with this product and my impression of the company, I would suggest that anyone looking for a less feminine style strongly consider the other RodeoH harnesses.
Follow-up commentary
I write this follow-up with a heavy heart. I LOVE this harness for so many reasons. HOWEVER, after only two washings, according to manufacturer's instructions (machine wash gentle, line dry) the lace began to fray badly. The elastic in the lace "pops" and then the lace runs and gets holes. I returned it to Eden and got a replacement which did the exact same thing. Unfortunately, the second one didn't fray until after the 60 day return window was over. I emailed RodeoH and received a rather unprofessional and snarky reply that they haven't received any other complaints about the product and they advised me condescendingly that lace needs 'very special attention in a super big way' and that I should research on Google about methods of washing lace properly. They offered me $20 off another harness. I'm rather disappointed in RodeoH for this since I followed their manufacturer's care instructions and they tell me that it's still my fault their product failed because I didn't do my homework. So, while I love the fit and look and function of this harness , I'm disappointed in the fragility of the product and in the company's lack of responsibility. If you choose this product, I recommend hand washing very gently! Currently, I'm investigating the possibility of having a seamstress or tailor replace the lace with a less fragile fabric that might stand up to wear and tear a bit better.

The title of your review is offensive. Plenty of women actually have penises, and it does not make them any less of a woman.

I agree with you and had not foreseen that this would be those women's reaction to my title. It was certainly not meant to imply thusly and I'm sorry you were offended. I've submitted a support ticket to inquire about changing the title. Unfortunately, because the review was published some months ago, the link that would allow me to edit the review is no longer active. I sent you a private message as well. Thank you again for pointing out the problem with the title and please accept my apologies for offending you.
