The Fetish Fantasy Elite 8" dildo has it all for a texture-lover who doesn't want to mix a girth into the equation. As a slender, mostly firm textured dildo, the FFE8" (if there was ever a dildo that made me wish I could come up with clever nicknames, this is it!) excels at solo play whether suction-cup or hand-held, or at partner play in a harness. Because of its namesake 8 insertable inches, this won't pop out of you thrust too wildly!

CONSTRUCTION
The FFE8" has a very unique design, and I was immediately excited when I saw it. Its long shaft and slender girth made me think the dildo would be very firm and the texture would be very pronounced. The texture is a lot of fun---the black silicone has a velvety feel and you can really play the frontal ridges like a washboard with your thumbs (or play your vaginal or anal walls when you realize your thumbs aren't the most fun organs in your body). The shape is very neat too---there's a little head that at first reminded me of a veiled head bent in prayer. There's a small neck (diameter about 1") and then the diameter swells to 1.25" to form the lovely washboard ridges and the swooped waves of the dildo's "shoulders". The shaft thins again once you've inserted six inches, and then it swells to a larger diameter of 1.5" for the last two insertable inches. There are some ripples here too, bit I couldn't insert the FFE8" deeper than the first six inches, so I can only tell you that they look nice.

My main sadness about the FFE8" is that it bends too easily. I can't tell without dissecting it (and I'm not gonna dissect it!), but it feels like it's a silicone coating over a softer core. The head is not very compressible, but once the ridges start the shaft has an appreciable amount of give... and it's not that it compresses, it's that it squeezes out where my fingers aren't. Also, at the thin spot at the six inch mark, it bends, or more like folds, very easily, and that annoyed me in use as I was trying to thrust it deeper.

The silicone seems to be of fine quailty---odorless, tasteless, non-porous, phthalate-free and non-toxic---somewhat velvety and with no "skipping" of my finger as I run along the shaft. There is a vertical seam up one side and down the other, but it has been trimmed very carefully across the head and it doesn't affect use for me. I wish that they had stuck with the same silicone all the way through, or if they were going to use a core, that they had used a more rigid core. The slender spot creates a natural bending point that makes me sad when thrusting.

THE KIT / CARE
The FFE8" comes bundled with a few high-quality accessories. A black silicone mask with an unstretched circumference of 16" featuring plastic clips which don't catch hair can keep the receiver on his or her toes. A 1 oz bottle of Moist lubricant and a 1 oz bottle of toy cleaner will help glide play along and help you clean up easily. As the dildo and mask are silicone, they can be cleaned with soap and water or with the included toy cleaner. They can also be sanitized with a 10% bleach solution, but because I'm not entirely sure if the inner core is made from a different material, I won't boil mine, personally.

FINAL THOUGHTS
I had been really excited when I first saw this dildo---the texture looked amazing (to a texture-fiend like myself), and the fact that it's slender means that the texture won't be too intimidating for most users. (You'll have to clench your muscles to get the full force of the texture.) I also like that the suction cup / harness compatible base is so versatile. Even though I'm not a big suction cup user, I think the long length of the FFE8" would make a fun suction cup ride for those who are, and will also help keep the giver from pulling it too far out during harness use.

I'm disappointed with the flex that the shaft has, though. I can squeeze it too much with my first or kegels to get as much feeling from the textures as I was hoping. It also can bend at the narrow point along the shaft. Looking at this, I had thought it would be perfect for a firm texture lover, but instead it seems like they tried to make it at the same time strongly-textured in appearance, but not all that hardcore in use. You don't need to be a texture hound to enjoy the FFE8", and you'll probably enjoy it more if you're not.
