Use

This is double dildo designed for a wife to give her husband some special pleasure while getting quite a bit for herself. While it is harness-compatible, the shape of the "giver" end makes it stay in place nicely without the need to be strapped down. The "receiver" end is long, nicely flared, and has a very interesting curve. While I'm sure that two woman could have great fun with the Nexus Sr., it is perfect for a male-female couple looking to experiment.

When using without a harness, the best way is actually to ease it into the receiver and then allow the giver to slide on, get comfortable, and begin slowly. With a harness, it's capable of being more aggressively thrust in like a more traditional strap on, but some of the benefits of this unique toy seem to be lost by treating it like a common appliance. From my experience, the best sensation for both partners comes from being very close and gently rocking—the curved shafts seem made for this motion.

Material / Texture

The first thing I noticed about this toy was how heavy it is (and this is a very good thing). Next was how firm it is (and this is a very, very good thing). While the toy is firm and keeps its shape, it is soft to the touch with enough give to keep things very comfortable during use. Like all silicone toys, it is flexible, but it is not at all floppy. There is a slight texture to the material that keeps it from feeling too slick, but not so much that it would create unwanted friction. This toy was made to penetrate, and the heft and firmness work well for that task. There was no annoying "toy" odor whatsoever.

Design / Shape / Size

The designers got this one right. The shape is unique and works very well to give the wearer great leverage. Unlike a normal harnessed dildo, the penetration angle of this toy can be adjusted with a simple hip movement, because the angle of the receiver's shaft is entirely related to the position of the giver's vagina.

The design of this toy is particularly good for male-female couples who want to try a role-reversal but might be a little tentative. The unique shape and bright color immediately take away some of the mental block that the male may have about being penetrated by a penis.

The severe curve on the giver side not only allows good control of the entire toy just by changing vaginal orientation, but its bulbous head would seem to be in just the right spot for G-spot stimulation. It did not work out that way for us, but my wife's G-spot is lower than most so this was to be expected.

The downside to a large and fairly rigid toy is that it's not exactly easy to conceal. For travel, it probably needs to ride in the main suitcase between two layers of clothes, meaning that it will likely provide considerable conversation-fodder for the TSA screeners.

Performance

This toy is unlike any other I have used. On my end, the curved shaft that increases in thickness from the end to the base was wonderful. Something about the material and the shape meant that lube could be kept to a manageable level, and anal play that does not result in a sticky mess is always a good thing for me. I loved every minute of getting penetrated by this toy, and was able to change up the feeling quite dramatically by switching positions. On my end, the penetration was deep and somewhat brutal (in a good way). When I rolled over on my back and threw my legs up, it sat against my prostate and drove me crazy (and some additional arousal was provided by the submissive gender role switch). While it felt good for my wife, it was not going to make her come, and by the end she had taken her end out, grabbed it in her hand, and was thrusting it into me as hard as she could. For a toy with decent width and length and me being pretty inexperienced at being penetrated, there was next to no discomfort, which I credit to the tapered and curved design.

Care and Maintenance

This is a silicone toy, so lube choice is important. Water-based lube is necessary to protect this material from degradation. The surface is slightly textured, and seems to hold lube well, so thin lubes seem to work as well or better than gel-types. The silicone is easy to clean in soap and water and there are no worries about the material becoming tacky or sticky.

This is a pretty large toy and it is both heavy and rigid, so this one is best stored in a toybox or at the bottom of an underwear drawer.

The best thing about this toy is that it is non-threatening. It's funny-shaped, heavy, floppy yet rigid, and looks nothing like a penis That alone might help some men overcome some sticking points to getting jumped by their wife. This is a toy that two people can play with together, and that can help men from feeling guilty about suggesting that a somewhat reluctant wife anally penetrate them. Overall, I really wish that this came out of our toy drawer more often.

great review, thanks. we have the Jr. I think that the users end should have a bigger bulb to help hold it in. It is right in the middle of being used by itself, or needing a harness. And it does not fit very well with our harness.

      Since my are only used personally by either myself or my partner, I wash them in hot, soapy water after use since I don't normally want to take the time to boil them or put them in with my dishes. I have done this for a couple years and have not had any problems, so I imagine that as long as your toys are not being shared with multiple people this would be plenty sanitary enough.
    • I also just wash my toys in soap and water. I have some boilable ones, but have never felt the need to do that, since my husband and I are the only ones who may be using them.

      There are toy cleaners for sale, but they may cause irritation in some people.
