Thigh leather harness - leg harness discontinued by Spartacus - review by married with children

This is just like your typical harness that you would wear around your waist, only this one can be used on your thigh, leg, or arm. This will work for anyone looking to add some fun and excitement to standard dildo play. This will work for either sex, whether you are the wearer or the squatter. It will hold your favorite dildo, as long as it is no larger then 1 1/2 inches in diameter.

This is best used in the bedroom. It is not made for use around water. And it will not work for going out and about on the town while wearing it.

This is made from leather. All the metal hardware on the harness is chrome plated. This is not something that you would want to get wet, or leave laying around damp. The liquid could damage the leather and cause the metal to rust.

The leather is pretty thick and stiff. But with use, as with all leather; it will soften up and be more flexible. The front side of the leather is soft and smooth. The back side is slightly on the rough side, but not rough enough to cause any discomfort to the wearer. This has a slight new leather smell to it. I personal like the smell of leather. So the scent did not bother me at all.

The metal is decent. Not the best quality, but not cheap by any means. Just use caution to not leave it laying around damp, as stated above the dampness could cause the metal hardware to rust.

This think is very well made. The leather is thick and sturdy. It is finished very nice, no loose edges or poor cuts. The quality is impressive.

The straps are adjustable. One strap has 2 D style rings that you weave the other strap through to secure it in place. It is not the best style, in my opinion, to adjust and attach the straps. I would have liked to see a belt buckle style of closure. That would have been more secure. But this should not be a huge problem, as ours has not worked itself loose yet.

The harness holds a dildo by the use of a O-ring. The O-ring is removable by unsnapping two straps on the front. This comes with one rubber O-ring, it is about 1 1/2 inches in diameter. You can replace it with one of your favorite O-rings with no trouble at all. This will fit any dildo with a flared base.

This will fit up to a 28 inch thigh, or anything else for that matter. is will shrink down to fit a smaller size no problem. You just adjust the straps. You should be able to fit I would think, down to 12 inches. So this should fit just about anyone and any type of body.

Like I stated above, I am not 100% pleased with the type of hardware they chose for this harness. I would have loved to see a belt buckle type. As of today, ours has not worked itself loose during use, yet. But I could see this being a problem for you, depending on how heavy you are using it.

This fit both my thigh and my wife's thigh perfectly. We had no problems getting it on, or keeping it on during use, or taking it off after.

The first night I wore this, and my wife sat on it. I had no problem getting this on and adjusted to fit my thigh. We inserted her favorite dildo, and it was no harder then inserting it in a standard harness. When she was sitting on my leg, the harness stayed in place and did not slide around. The harness held the dildo snugly, there was no slippage. After we were done playing with it, and I had taken it off; there was no marks on my leg. I was worried about it chaffing my leg, but it did not cause any.

I did notice that it was slightly stiff, but that will work itself out after more use. Leather always needs some time and use to soften up.

There was no information included on the package or product to let you know how to care for this harness. I would wipe it down with a damp cloth when needed and then pat dry. Leave it out for a hour or longer to make sure it is dry before packing it away. You can also purchase some leather cleaning products, but I would be cautious with this harness and cleaning products since it will hold your sex toys. You don't want to mix chemicals and sex toys, it is not a good mixture.

You can store this in the package it came it, or just about anywhere else. We use the package if it is stored for a extended period of time. If just for a few days, it goes in the drawer with the other high use toys.

This shows up in a plastic clam shell box. Inside the box is a cardboard insert hiding the harness out of site. But on the cardboard insert is a half naked lady with the harness on her thigh, and a pretty big pink dildo in the harness. So it is not very discreet. You can always toss the cardboard insert and keep the box for storage, we did.

There really isn't any information included with this. There is a little bit about the harness itself, and a few sentences about the company. I would have liked a bit of information about how to care for the harness. Leather can be a tricky thing to keep looking like new.
