Can this be used as a butt plug harness

My guess is that it would kind of work. When you put it on and tighten it down the G-string strap would press against a plug base and help hold it in, but there wouldn't be anything "grabbing" the plug so you might need to adjust things from time to time to keep everything in position.
Keep in mind that it would probably be a bit uncomfortable for someone with a penis to use as a plug harness ;).

Thank you for viewing Bare as you dare harness – g-string harness review page!

Excellent review!
I use it to pack, that's it. Good review!!! I found it "fiddly" too.
When I first saw this I thought the center strap would be painful, but now that you explained the function I'm impressed. Really affordable too. Hmm... now if I could just get hubby to let me peg him properly...
Michele - The center strap is not painful at all. You are able to adjust it just right. If you had the center part too tight then I could imagine it might. Good luck on convincing him to let you peg him with a harness!
You might want to look at either the Sedux Glam, Vixen Smooth Operator, Boy 1, or Happy Valley Delight. They're about the same in circumference, and with the exclusion of the Smooth Operator they have the same slight texturing.
Thanks Scott. I have been doing my research and I've actually looked at all of those that you've mentioned. I am particularly interested in the Sedeux Glam. Since it has just one review, I might be eligible to review it through EF.
The circumference being nearly the same as the Compact is important because my husband isn't quite ready to upgrade to a wider one yet. Thanks for keeping that in mind. I appreciate your comment!
Great review of this harness. We've looked at it but always thought that it would be really sloppy. Does it shift around a lot/allow the dildo too much play? It just seems that there isn't much keeping a fake cock against the wearers body.
Nope, like I said in my review the harness did not shift at all (it stayed firmly yet comfortably tight against my hips) and the O ring kept the dildo in place. I haven't tried it with a larger dildo than the Tantus Compact yet, so I guess I can't attest to that but I doubt there would be a problem.
The fact is, the harness secures around your waist and at the back. The O ring is sturdy (whether you use the metal one provided or have to switch out for a smaller O ring to accommodate a different dildo, which we did and it was rubber).
I hope that helps! Thanks for the comment. It's not much of an investment either
Sounds good to me! The price is right too. Now all I have to do is work on my fiance. He barely lets me use a small toy on him, let alone a dildo. He has been interested in an upgrade, so who knows. In time, I think I could convince him to let me use a harness!
It can be a lot of fun, so here's hoping that he'll let you someday!
Great review! I am looking for a starter harness and this may be it!
