Blue Rider is a good choice for G-spot stimulation as well as for anal play. Its shaft may not be curved, but the head is deliciously big and therefore can give wonderful sensations. The widely flared base makes this toy completely safe for anal play.

Blue Rider is made of pyrex glass, a non-porous, break resistant, easy care material.

It has a splash of blue glass on the shaft, but this only is too subtle a texture to feel.

The head of the Blue Rider is a full five inches in circumference. The shaft is considerably smaller. The pronounced head can be wonderfully stimulating.

It has a wide base, the most stable base I've ever seen on a glass toy. This is the first glass toy with a substantial enough base that I feel safe leaving in on the counter standing upright. I don't believe there is significant risk of the rider toppling over when upright.

The Rider has a splash of blue on its shaft. I have it from a reliable source that the blue pattern is the same on all units. Its not a random splash of blue glass. This leaves me to wonder whether the design represents anything. To me it looks similar to the buxom women on mud flaps of semi trucks, although a slightly deformed version.

The Blue Rider performs wonderfully, stimulating your G-spot with its large, bulbous head. The Rider's head is the same size and a similar shape as the Pure Wand, so its no surprise that it feels similar. Its has a straight shaft, so its necessary to angle it down quite a bit when using it.

The Pure Wand is heavier, which for me is a disadvantage, and is also more awkward to use, but does give more intense results sometimes.

I'm not saying the Blue Rider is a Pure Wand substitute. It just feels similar.

The Blue Rider is easy care, just like all glass toys. Simply wash or rinse, then dry. Any lube is safe to use with the Rider.

It comes with a storage pouch. The pouch is purple and suede-like on the outside with pink satin on the inside. It has a drawstring closure. Its not a padded bag, but its an excellent way to store it.

The Blue Rider comes in the same minimal packaging as all SSA glass toys. It arrived inside its storage pouch and inside a clear plastic bag.

The Blue Rider is easy to hold with its wide base. But I find that I have to angle it down so far that I sometimes bump against things as I'm using it. This isn't a problem with G-spot toys with a curved shaft. It does give the advantage of not having to worry about how its oriented however.

I do think the Rider would be improved with a curved shaft and I don't mean the subtle curves of other SSA Glass toys. So now it sounds like I'm advocating a Pure Wand shape, the toy I say I don't like but like every toy that resembles it.

Actually what would be perfect is a toy with the head and shaft thickness of the Rider but with the sharply curved shaft and the handle of the Bent Graduate. This would result in a toy with the excellent pressure control easy to manipulate handle of the Bent Graduate plus the sensational head of the Pure Wand without the weight and awkwardness of the Pure Wand. That would be the most perfect G-spot toy ever made.

As it is, the Blue Rider is quite good, but just a little harder to use than it needs to be.
