A Blue Icicle
The Icicles No 8 is the most beginner friendly glass dildo I have ever seen. The slender and sleek size make it a great option. Use
The Icicles No.8 is a double ended dildo that can be used anally and vaginally. Therefore it can be enjoyed by men and women alike. If you use this vaginally than you can use any end you would like, but if you use this anally you will only want to insert the smaller end, so the larger ball can act as a base. Be sure to keep a good grip onto this, just in case. This dildo can be easily handled by you or your partner, so it is a great couples toy, but it is not something that will work well for double penetration. You can move this by rocking, thrusting, swirling, and popping in and out, which will provide stimulation to the area. It aims for hitting the G-Spot or the P-spot.
Material
There is only one color option for this dildo and that is clear with blue swirled in the inside, but it also appears to have a rainbow colored film on it. (You know how when soap is mixed in water and there is a rainbow of colors in the water, that is what the film looks like.) The dildo is made out of Pyrex glass which has a level 10 for safety. Glass is latex free, phthalates free, hypo allergenic, and non porous. If you would like to share a glass toy you can boil for sterilizing in between non fluid bond partners or just use a condom. There is never any odor or taste to glass. Glass is smooth to the touch, but firm and unforgiving. You will want to be careful not to bruise your cervix and if you put this in your mouth be careful of your teeth. The best part about glass is that it is great for temperature play. You should only change the temperature of your toy for use by warm or cold water, but you can use ice. Drastic temperature changes then use could result in injury.

The size is a little small for my taste. I think I would of enjoyed this toy a lot more if this was my first glass piece. I found it lacked in girth to please me. I did enjoy the use of it, but not as much as I was hoping for. I prefer the larger end inserted and used my my Salsa vibe for clitoral stimulation. Only with clitoral stimulation can I achieve orgasm with this dildo. It was not disappointing, just not suited for my needs, but would be the best to start glass with.

Glass is easy to care for, just wash with soap and water, toy cleaner, or toy wipes. If you do share this you should boil for no longer than 3-5minutes for sterilizing. Cracks or Swirls?

Well, now that my fears about bubbles have been alleviated, here's a different one. The Icicles No. 8 is freaking beautiful, no doubt about it. It's got that awesome double-helix pattern going on inside. But after I received mine, upon close inspection, I noticed that there seemed to be what looked like small, smooth cracks on two or three spots. I felt a bit alarmed, but then I realized that they ran along the edge of the helix pattern - pretty much part of it. Since the toy feels completely smooth, I'm thinking that they might just be hiccups that occurred when the toy was made. I've used it without any trouble, but it's still bugging me a bit. What do you guys think?

Actually, I've had the opportunity to handle five or sixpof these in a store, on top of the one that I own. I've noticed that most of these lovelies have this "cracked" look, and I believe it's actually part of the design. Hope this is helpful! :)
