Icicles No. 21 is a glass dildo manufactured by Pipedream for both internal and external pleasure. It is a part of the Icicles line. It is going to be more attractive to women as a whole, due to its design in general and the flower decorating it. It is best for vaginal penetration and some external stimulation.

The No. 21 is made of pyrex glass, which is a solid material which doesn't have any give to it. This material is rated a 10 out of 10 on the safety scale due to its ability to be sterilized and is body safe. The only negative thing about using glass toys is that you must take extra care so as not to cause any bruising. Unlike materials such as silicone, there is no give to the toy, so during use if you are too rough, you may bruise the cervix.

There is no taste nor smell to glass toys, which can be an added bonus to those with sensitive noses or those who do not like toys with taste. Glass is also fantastic for temperature play. To try this, simply fill a bowl with either ice water or hot water and let the toy soak for a few minutes. Pull it out and begin to play! You will want to avoid placing this toy in the microwave or in the freezer for temperature play, as this can actually cause the glass to become brittle, crack or fracture. You do not want to use a glass toy with cracks in it, because this is not only unsafe but it can allow bacteria to settle inside of the crevices and grow.

Always check this and all other glass toys before use, and make sure that there are no hairline fractures in the material. Glass is incredibly sturdy and should not break if dropped, though if it should break, it will not shatter into small pieces, it will break into larger sections.

Glass also is often more textured than some other toys. They also have a wide range of types of textures, from swirls to nubs, bumps to designs. This is textured based on its design. The design is at the base, a flower and its leaves being the location of the texture. The flower is red with the green leaves and stem, yellow where the bottom of the flower is. The flower takes up more than half of the size of the dildo and although it can be prominently felt on the toy as you hold it and run your fingers along, it is more difficult to feel in use. The flower is 4" from the tip of the top petal to the bottom of the yellow nubs.

The 21 has a slight "S" shape to it. It has the bulbous head followed by a curved shaft, then a flared base at the bottom. The base is flared enough to make this toy safe for anal play if you enjoy curved dildos for anal. The head is 5" in circumference and makes up for 2 1/4" of the toy's length. The shaft is 6.5" long and the curve does not take much away from the length. From tip to base, the toy is about 8.5" in total length and all but about 1/2" can be inserted!

The toy is not too heavy, so it feels comfortable while inside. The shape of the dildo is great, though because of the way the head is positioned in relation to the curve, this does not always hit the G-spot. The shape does really stimulate the inside of the body and the texture feels good being dragged against the clitoris. The bulb end is great for teasing the nipples or the clitoris and other parts of the body.

It is small enough to be okay for beginners or those who like more manageable toys, but the shape and texture make it great for those who have used glass toys or larger toys before. There is a little something for just about everybody.

To store the toy, you may either keep it in the box that the toy came in or use a toy pouch. You'll want to make sure that if you use a pouch, there is extra padding. If you are in a household where you are able to display your toys, you may choose to do this, because this toy is absolutely just so cute! The flower makes it look like something that needs to be displayed! That is what I plan to do with mine, in our glass hutch.

Toys from the Icicles line are typically packaged in beautiful boxes. The No. 21 comes in a lovely box with a ribbon that allows you to pull open the magnetic flap, revealing your toy. The box introduces the 21 as well as some basic information on glass toys, located on the back of the box. Company contact information is located on the bottom of the box. Inside is a foam insert, a cutout in the shape of the toy. The toy sits snugly inside the foam cutout, keeping the toy safe not only during shipping but for storage as well.

The box standing up is only 10" tall and 4" wide. It stands just under 3" out from the wall if displayed. Storage for the Icicles line gets an A+, because the packaging is simple yet elegant, just like their toys! It is a great representation of what is inside!

This glass dildo caught my attention a while back, but when I first began using glass toys I was playing around with texture more than anything else. This toy was aesthetically pleasing to me, but didn't seem to have the type of texture I was experimenting with. I finally decided to get this toy, and have no regrets.
