Silenzio - dildo by Orion - review by Gunsmoke

The Silenzio originally caught my eye because I surmised by its design that it would be a toy that both my wife and I could enjoy. We love glass toys and have spent from $50 to $200 per item to satisfy our curiosity - at just $36, if it worked - the Silenzio would be a steal!

Well I'm pleased to say it worked beautifully. It's not my wife's favorite because it doesn't hit her g-spot as directly as some others - so we're giving it 4-stars - but as you can see, others give it 5-stars and it's hard to argue with such a high quality glass toy at 4 or 5 stars - you are definitely getting your money's worth from this gem.

I refer to it as a gem because of the beautiful sapphire color and like the bling I occasionally indulge my wife in - it brought her great satisfaction.

Physically the 9" long smooth glass shaft can reach both her g-spot and deeper a-spot - which are both useful to make my wife ejaculate. Although we have not achieved this yet with the Silenzio - I expect we will.

The two mid shaft 1.25" ripples definitely enhance the the sensation for my wife as I stroke the larger end against her g-spot, effectively adding to the overall experience. The last ripple provides an effective handle for controlling the Silenzio.

One of the problems we have had with many more expensive glass toys is the lack of an effective handle - which lead us to buy the more expensive 'wands' that have handles - driving the cost well over $150/copy. For just $36 - you get everything you need to experience the pleasures of glass - and believe me there are many pleasures.

You read a lot about temperature play with glass - we haven't needed to use any artificial cooling - just taking the glass at a 68-72 degree room temperature feels pretty cold against 99 degree skin. This feels especially great on hot summer nights. In the winter I'll run it under a little warm water or set it on a heating pad to take off the chill - it turns out my wife doesn't like it to be hot.

As for using the Silenzio anally - I found it a bit of a challenge. Although the toy is very smooth, there is no taper to ease it in. The blunt end tries to take you from sealed closed to gaping open. We had to use another toy to relax me a little - but once the first ripple entered - it was smooth sailing (purposeful pun) from there!
