The Pink Venus is perfect for anyone new to strap-on play who finds all those other harnesses intimidating. It will also be equally enjoyed for more advanced users who simply do not want to deal with all of the fuss. The harness is very basic, resembling panties but made out of silicone, and comes with a lovely probe so all you need is a little lube and you're ready to go. This harness will work well for play with a partner of either gender, and can easily be hidden under clothing with the dildo removed. The dildo itself is not too thick and not too thin, meaning it is sure to please a wide variety of users.

Silicone, oh silicone, how we adore you with your hypo-allergenic nature and lack of latex and phthalates. So its super safe, easy to clean, but it kind of feels like you're wearing rubber. While it's nice and smooth to the touch, I've noticed that the harness tends to get a bit static-y, and therefore attracts lots of dust and other small particles, giving it a grimy feel after a bit. There wasn't much of a smell, which is fabulous for anyone with an aversion to strong smelling toys. The dildo has a very light taste, almost not even noticeable, and not unpleasant, lovely for some oral action as well.

The harness itself is very thin feeling, rather flimsy. It seems to be fairly stretchy, so it shouldn't rip, but it feels like it could. The dildo has a nice amount of firmness while still being flexible enough to get those hard-to-reach places. Both pieces are completely waterproof for shower time fun.

The nice thing about this harness is that it is truly no fuss-- just pull it on like any other pair of panties. There's a hole to slide the dildo through, and it's kept (mostly) in place by the base of the dildo. However, I found that the angle of the dildo when placed in the harness is a bit off. It's going to take some careful adjusting to get this just right during use. The plus side is that the harness can be used with virtually any dildo that has a flared base.

It has a nice, simple appearance overall. Who doesn't love a pretty pink dildo and harness? The side edges of the harness are scalloped, giving it an extra-girly feel that I personally find adorable. The design of the dildo is fairly simple; it's thicker at the head and tapers down a little to the base, with some lovely thick ridges that give extra stimulation. The dildo has 7" of insertable length and has a 4 1/2" circumference at its widest point.

The packaging claims that the harness will fit anyone with a 69 cm (~27 inch) to 94 cm (~37 inch) waist, but I'm a little skeptical. I found that the harness rested nicely on the higher part of my hips, but not quite on my natural waist, and it felt a bit too large (I have a 26" waist and 36" hips, for reference). Anyone else on the lower end of the range will probably have the same problem. Other than that, the material does seem stretchy enough to fit a 37" waist, so it should fit fine on a variety of different shapes.

Putting this on was really like pulling on some panties. While I can't say that I found the material to have a particularly appealing feel when on, it wasn't exactly uncomfortable, either. Just different.

The dildo was super easy to put in, and just slid on through the hole. But that's where the issue comes in. As I mentioned earlier, the dildo isn't quite at the right angle for you to begin fucking away in any position. It's going to take a second to adjust it so it's just right.

While for all necessary purposes the toy stays in place well enough. However, I found that with some tugging, it easily snaps out of the harness. Not exactly ideal, but shouldn't be too problematic until you get to the really rough play.

The dildo sits fairly low, which means the base hits the clit nicely, providing a little bit of stimulation during play.

Did I mention that this is all silicone? Wonderful, beautiful, glorious silicone? Yes! Even the harness is made of pure silicone, which means it all can be completely sterilized when boiled for a few minutes or put on the top rack of a dishwasher. Plus, that means the dildo retains heat when place in warm water. Yum. Beware, though, anything other than water-based lube will not mix well with this set.

The packaging wasn't too impressive. Just a simple box that came somewhat smushed, which was a little disappointing. The harness itself was simply folded up in the box and the dildo was in bubble wrap. The outside of the box clearly displays what is inside, so not exactly something you could leave lying around in hopes that no one notices. I'd recommend investing in something a little nicer as permanent storage.

I have to say, the dildo is what made this item so glorious for me. The simple design, nice but not overwhelming texture, the velvety smoothness of silicone... mmmmmmmmm. The not-too-overwhelming thickness combined with the ridges really got me going, and the length is perfect.

I found that the harness could be slipped onto a pillow for some nice hands-free action, and I'm sure I spent hours riding to my heart's content. Absolutely wonderful.
