Mantric Sysil edge - double ended dildo discontinued by Mantric - review by Saraid

The Mantric Sysil Edge is a double-ended dildo that is meant to be used without a harness by penetrating one partner who hold it in with his or her kegel muscles and then used to penetrate the other partner as you would with any other strap-on dildo. The difference with the Sysil Edge (henceforth Sysil) versus other harnessless strap-ons like the Fun Factory Share and Happy Valley Tango is that the Sysil is adjustable. According to the box the angles can be changed in order to experience different sexual acts, but I think it’s adjustable so it actually stays in without a harness unlike the majority. The angle-changing option of the toy is what makes it so unique and frankly, way cooler than the rest.

The Sysil comes in a classy white box without any of the stereotypical semi-naked women on the front. The Sysil itself is made out of 100% silicone and oddly enough doesn’t pick up dust badly nor is it slightly tacky to the touch. Rather than having the velvety texture of Fun Factory silicone or the slickness of Tantus silicone, it’s just smooth. Because it’s silicone all you have to do to clean it is pop out the bullet vibrator that is located in the base and scrub, scrub, scrub. If you want to do something beyond scrubbing it with mild soap and hot water, you can also boil it or run it through the top rack of your dishwasher with no soap. If you don’t want to do that you can also wipe it down with a 10% bleach and water solution (make sure to rinse it off afterward).

The bullet in the toy is very, very strong and definitely serves its purpose. It’s situated at the base of the toy right under a small protrusion that rests right against the clitoris of the wearer. The vibrations also carry up through the piece the wearer inserts and also down the shaft of the toy so the receiver can feel vibrations as well. Just wearing the toy provided a good amount of clitoral and vaginal stimulation for me.

I think this toy is so great because it’s multifunctional. If you look at my video I’ll explain the different ways this toy can be used when you are by yourself or if you happen not to have a partner at all. 1) You can use the toy as you would any dildo. I like to change the angle to the widest one for this use as it provides a better handle.
2) You can insert the insertable portion into the vagina and grind on the clitoral stimulator (protrusion).
3) You can use the bullet by itself as it’s reasonably strong.

The angles are changed by taking out a small piece of silicone, moving the angle of the insertable portion and reinserting it in the notch that is provided for that angle. This, in my opinion, is better than any kind of mechanical system because you can boil the whole toy once the bullet is removed.

As I mention in the video, the bullet is very quiet, so this toy is very suitable for those who need privacy or people who just don’t want to be distracted by a buzzing sound. It’s also nice because Mantric includes 2 replacement batteries for the bullet, which makes this less of a throw-away kind of bullet.

I really feel this toy is worth the money because it has multiple functions. Also, the fact that it is adjustable sets it apart from the rest of the toys in its category.
