A swirly winner

The Blue Spiral G is a first rate toy with a head that is just the right shape and size to deliver very satisfying G-spot stimulation. If the shaft were more curved it would be even easier to achieve just the right amount of pressure, but even with its almost straight shaft, it's wonderful.

Use

The Blue Spiral G shines as a G-spot toy for those who want to experience a glass toy and especially a G-spot toy, but aren't sure whether a textured toy would be too much.

Its flared base also makes it suitable for anal use where I imagine it would work quite well.

Material / Texture

The Blue Swirl G is made of Pyrex glass, a break resistant, non-porous, inflexible material. Any lube is safe to use with this product.

It has a blue ribbon of glass lazily spiraling around its shaft. This is such a subtle texture that I find that I don't even feel the ribbons.

Design / Shape / Size

This toy has a circumference of four and three quarters inches, which is just about perfect in my opinion. Large enough to be incredibly effective but not so large that you'll have trouble with insertion or removal. The head has the marvelous mushroomy shape that works excellently for G-spot stimulation.

It's seven inches long, with only a slight bend in the shaft. I don't know why SSA makes that bend so subtle. Perhaps it's difficult to do. Hopefully in the future SSA will introduce toys with more significant curves into their lineup.

The Blue Swirled G has a flat base, making it possible to set down without dirtying the business end, should that be needed.

It comes with a drawstring storage bag, suede-like on the outside and satin on the inside. Its not padded but is sufficient to protect it between uses.

Performance

Blue Spiral G lived up to my high expectations for it. I knew when I saw its beautiful head that it would be a good G-spot toy and indeed it is. The head is in fact the same size and almost the exact shape of my beloved clear ribbed G-spot wonder, a toy I have compared to countless other G-spot toys. I use the wonder as my standard of G-spot excellence. So its no surprise that Spiral G's head works so well.

If you're working on learning to squirt or just want another great G-spot toy, the Blue Spiral G is an excellent choice.

Care and Maintenance

The Blue Spiral G's Pyrex glass construction makes it as easy care as other glass toys. Clean it with soap and water. Any lube can be used, if you even need lube with it.

It can be soaked in warm or cool water or refrigerated for temperature play.

Packaging

Blue Spiral G arrived in the simplest of packaging. It was nestled inside a storage bag, which was inside a clear plastic bag. I appreciate it when products don't use extra packaging that I will just throw away immediately anyway. SSA glass may have done this to save money, but I welcome the environmentally friendly result.

Personal comments

Blue Spiral G feels very similar to the clear ribbed wonder that I used to achieve some of my first G-spot and squirting successes. It doesn't have the wonder's nubs and many women will appreciate that. The wonder's nubs don't bother me but those using the Blue Spiral G will reap all the benefits of the wonder without concern about a possibly irritating texture.

The unknown in this is how consistent SSA glass is in the size and shape of their products. There doesn't appear to be a manufacturer's website so its impossible for me to contact them or assess in any way to what extent they try to hold to the same dimensions and shape of their products. If they are handmade, which I suspect they are, there may well be noticeable variations in size and shape from one Blue Spiral G to the next.

thanks for the great review! any thoughts on how successful this would be as an anal toy? it's not overly girthy (for me anyways, most of my toys are 1.5" diameters are the widest points) looks perfectly smooth with just a slight ribbing... I fell in love with it when I saw its specs

either way unless someone steps up except for the one reviewer that said he couldn't quite get it in, I'll most likely buy it in the future at some point for anal use.
