A fine dildo...if you like dildos! The Pleasureskin is the best quality of Adam's Pleasureskin Cock. Better coloring would have nice.
Pros:
Realistic feel and impressive heft.
Cons:
Too light of a color. May be too big for most.
This was our first dildo purchase. We had owned a couple of vibrators and decided to try out Adam's pleasureskin cock. When it first arrived, we were both surprised at the texture. This was also our first Pleasureskin product, and it felt extremely life-like. It had very realistic detailing, but it seemed a little too light in color. On our computer, the image led us to believe that there would be different shades of color on it, but in actuality it was a solid light skin color. This was a disappointment, because the display image looked awesome. It is very heavy and quite large. Too large, in fact, for most beginners. There was not much of an odor with this product. Due to it's material, extreme care must be taken in clean-up and a condom should always be used to prevent dirt and bacteria growth. A water-based lubricant is a must.
In actual use, we were frankly disappointed. Again, this was our first dildo purchase and my wife had been spoiled with vibrators. She asked that why would anyone want one of these if they could have one that vibrates! The only plus is that this could be used in the tub or pool. The suction cup gripped well and provided a good handle.
This did not excite my wife at all. After a few minutes of use, it was put aside and we used one of our vibrating toys and she had her first orgasm within minutes. Again, she is spoiled and we both agreed that if someone liked dildos, than the Pleasureskin material would make this one a winner. For us, however, it will have a permanent place at the bottom of the bag!
If you like dildos, than this will please you. However, we are "vibrator people" it seems and this did not meet our expectations

ScottAPersonally I'm a fan of silicone for anal use - it's easy to clean and sanitize, as well as being bodysafe.
If you do go with the Adam's Pleasureskin Cock you should use condoms, both to keep the toy clean (Pleasureskin is porous, so it can't be sanitized or fully cleaned) and to keep chemicals away from the rectal mucosa (it's not phthalates-free and may have other chemicals that people can be sensitive to). -

Was it the size or overall dildo experience that was unsatisfying?

That's so disappointing! I have Adam's and it's an absolute favorite of mine. Yes, it is heavy, I will definitely agree there and it is without a doubt huge!!!! But once you get past the initial upsets it really is a keeper.
The size was not the issue. It justs seemed that the dildo couldn't do anything that a realistic vibrator is able to do. Just not our cup of tea.
Have you tried using it, and placing a strong vibrator (yes, like the hitachi, or ideal, etc) against it? It may conduct the vibrations well, and then at least you're not left with a dud at the bottom of your bag!
Doh! Essin' Em beat me to that suggestion! I'm also a tremendous fan of the vibrator vs. the dildo, and find that using a vibrator a thte base of a dildo (especially one with a nice, large base like this) will genenerally liven up the experience tremendously!
Frankly, it's unfair to have the same expectations of a dildo as that of a vibrator. They don't vibrate and as much as you'd like to will them too you can't change the purpose of the toy. Perhaps as vibrator it's a 1 but as a dildo it's so much better than that.
If you want it to vibrate, put the Hitachi against it.
