The Amethyst dildo is a glass dildo that is designed for g-spot stimulation. Past the g-spot stimulation the Amethyst is also two sided, meaning if you are looking for something for anal or just regular vaginal stimulation you're in luck. Double the pleasure double the fun after all. This toy is fantastic for beginners and intermediate users since it is not overly big and easy to handle, and it's even better because it is an inexpensive plunge for a glass product. We will highlight more of the great things about it being glass later however!

The toy itself is great for vaginal and clitoral teasing, and hits a massive home run with its primary goal - to make you scream so loud you rattle the walls from g-spot stimulation.

The toy itself is made of Pyrex, which in my opinion is the best thing a toy could be made out of, period. Being made of Pyrex means it is the safest material out there, and it is also super easy to clean. Little soap and water, or toy cleaner and you are all set. You equally can boil it or put it in the dishwasher if that is more your speed, so it's really a great benefit.

Past that there is another gigantic benefit from being made of Pyrex: temperature play. Put it in the freezer to give it a chill or warm it up with hot water and it's an out of the world experience. It also means the more rigorously you play, the warmer it gets and the better it feels inside of you because it absorbs your physical body heat.

The glass is very smooth, and the bulbs in it are perfectly round with no rough ridges. You can use any kind of lube since it is glass, and even past that you don't need much because the toy won't absorb your natural wetness.

I feel one more thing needs to be added as well for anyone who has never used glass and has questions. The biggest question that pops up is "Will this break while using it?". The answer is no, assuming you aren't jumping out of a building crotch first and land head onto the toy. Glass toys do not break, do not weaken, and generally speaking (so long as you put them back in their case) do not scratch. Any fear of something bad happening and it breaking is largely unfounded, and please do not cheat yourself out of a chance to use glass with this fear. It is the safest toy you can buy, period.

The toy itself is about 7 inches long, and the bulbed heads are about one and a quarter inches in diameter. The shaft portions are probably about one inch in diameter. The bulbs are a little more like an oval than a circle, so insertion is a bit easier. The toy has about 3 and 1/4 inches of insertable length. The curved end is intended to hit your g-spot, and I can confirm it definitely hit the intended spot with me. The toy comes with a lovely velvet home which should always contain your toy after a proper cleaning from use. The velvet prevents scratching, or any other minor defects from occurring. The toy also weighs about 10 ounces.

Performance, you say? well let me put it this way....YES YES YES OH GOD YES. The curved end is a fantastic g-spot stimulator, and the bulbs give you some variation if you want minor insertion and teasing, and are great for playing with your clit. The toy can also be used anally, but be very careful if you so choose this method and please, please, please use proper lubrication. Generally I would stick to vaginal use and temperature play, as it is great for both.

As mentioned before, this toy is Pyrex, so that means it is very easy to clean and very easy to take care of. Any type of lube will work for this one; I feel that is something that can't be stressed enough. Additionally, to clean your toy it is a case of pick your poison: boiling, toy cleaner, soap and water, or even bleach (but if you use bleach be sure to use a very small concentration and THOROUGHLY wash the bleach off). As always, make sure your toy is dry before storage, then slap it in its little velvet home and you are all set. It's as easy as that.

I've had my fair share of glass toys in my day but this one is one of my favorites behind my juicer. The material on it feels great, and I love the fact that it warms inside of me. For me personally, this toy hit the g-spot exactly, and with a little bit of playing let's just say I had a rougher time cleaning up the mess that was made than was cleaning up the toy. The fact that the bulbs are more oval shaped also makes them great for teasing.
