The Blossom G is a great toy. It has quickly become one of my favorites and has a special place with all my other "go to" toys. It can be used solo, with a partner, for temperature play--the possibilities are endless with this dildo! It would probably be great for a beginner as it's not too big. The few raised bumps it does have are hardly noticeable, despite the fact that they may look a bit intimidating. It has two ends to choose from, each with their own pros and cons. It makes NO noise, so it can be used in when you have company over or a roommate without fear of being 'caught'. It's just down-right a good toy!

The Material/Texture is pretty self explanatory. It's made of Pyrex glass. It is completely non-porous, smooth, and hard. Obviously, the toy has no smell or taste, which is a plus. The stimulation glass provides is completely unlike any other toys I have used. It's smaller than some of my other toys, but the firmness of the material makes it feel like it's bigger. It can honestly be a bit intimidating, so just take things slow.

Also, unless one wants to be turned into a Vaginasicle, they might consider running the wand under a bit of warm water for a minute or two because it feels very cold after sitting in a dark drawer for a while. There are two major advantages to using glass toys: one, it doesn't matter what type of lube you use, so bring on the Gun Oil, Grape-seed oil, and even mineral oil! Secondly, it can be sterilized!

The design of this toy is wonderful. It has two ends with two different shapes to choose from. One end is tapered, which is great for a beginner. They can take it slow, and get used to the feel of the glass. This same end also offered a few lightly raised bumps, which provide mild stimulation. I personally, though, could barely even notice them and I usually cannot handle even mild texture, so do not let the texture stop you from purchasing this toy. The other end is simply shaped like a sphere, it took me a while to get used to using this end, but now I love it! At first, it was like shoving a ball inside yourself, no warning, no graduation, just a bit of pressure and...pop...Wow! It was a bit intimidating. I have since gotten used to this, and actually enjoy it more. This end has a better curve to it, and is better at stimulating my G-spot.

The size, I feel, is perfect. It's 9 inches in length, has a circumference of 4.5 inches, and weighs 11 ounces. I don't think it qualifies as discreet, despite being beautiful enough to be considered a work of art. The tapered end has an obvious phallic shape to it, that I personally would not feel comfortable to leave lying around.

This toy met and exceeded my expectations. This is the first toy that I have ever been able to get a solely g-spot orgasm from. All other toys I need clitoral stimulation from, as well, but the firmness of the toy I feel is what helps to achieve that extra gusto that other g-spot toys lack. The only thing I do caution is to take it slow with this one, and make sure to communicate with a partner when using this toy, especially if it is in their hands. Rocking too hard against it, or going in too far/fast can cause problems such as cervical bruising, knocking against the pelvic bone--which believe me...is painful! Glass definitely has a learning curve, to which this toy is no exception.

This toy is moderately easy to take care of. Clean up in general is a breeze. Boil it, put it in the dishwasher (top shelf, mind you), use a bit of cleanser and water, a toy wipe--it really doesn't matter. It doesn't really collect lint or anything. I only say moderately for two reasons: one, because of the light texture, you should make sure you wipe carefully around the grooves on the bumps if you are simply washing by hand; two, because it comes with a thin non-padded velvet bag, which provides no protection whatsoever for this fragile toy. Granted, I have dropped mine on carpet a couple of times and it's been okay, but I would hate to have my toy ruined because I don't have a safe bag to store it in so I recommend getting a padded bag to do so.
