Bent graduate - sex toy by Don Wands - review by Annemarie

The Bent Graduate is, at heart, a glass g-spot dildo meant for solo use (or very, very gentle couple use--see below). If you are using this toy anally, be extremely careful not to allow the Graduate to slip in all the way. This toy is great for beginners looking for their g-spot AND equally great for advanced users looking to enjoy g-spot stimulation, or anyone in between.

You can use the Graduate hot, cold, or anywhere in between by simply running hot or cold water over it, or putting it in the freezer for ONLY a few minutes. (Note: Don Wands advises against putting it in the freezer for fear of frost bite, but I think if you monitor how long it's in there, you should be fine.) I do not suggest putting it in the microwave or oven because it would make the glass far too hot to handle.

The Bent Graduate is made of smooth Pyrex/tempered/borosilicate glass, which is completely nonporous, tasteless, odorless, and one of the safest materials in which to own a sex toy. Glass is very rigid and unforgiving. Because of this, you should be careful to not pound your cervix/prostate when you are in g-spot/p-spot orgasm bliss. If you use the Bent Graduate (or any glass toy) in couple's play, be vocal about any discomfort you may have.

Another warning: you will buy another glass dildo, and then another. It's absolutely addicting.

The Graduate has a curved end for g-spot stimulation (or p-spot) and four connected bulbs, both ends of which can be used, though the bent end is where the party happens. It is 6.75 inches in length, about 3 inches for each end, and 4 inches in circumference (1.25 inches in diameter), which I believe to be just perfect for beginners, though it will fulfill its purpose for most advanced users as well. It weighs half of a pound.

This glass dildo is gorgeous, as it always is with Don Wands' glass dildos. I loved the design and the simplicity of it, and it worked flawlessly. This size is great to allow for a little bit of movement inside to find the perfect spot, but it's large enough so that it won't get lost. The length of the handle (the bubbles) fits just right in my hands, despite my hands being a little on the larger size.

This toy is flawless, absolutely flawless. I came (literally) into this expecting/hoping to find my g-spot, have a g-spot orgasm, and perhaps even squirt. I found my g-spot (I think), and I came super close to having a g-spot orgasm, but I just couldn't let go enough to actually have it or do the elusive gushing. However, that was only with the first couple of times I used it. I'll get back to you in 2 months with the follow up.

I found it super easy to use and figure out. It's a simple and blatant toy, with a designated purpose at which it excels. The bend is perfect--any less, and it wouldn't work for me. I cannot say enough about this toy.

With glass, one has many options in which to clean your art pieces. You can use warm water and a gentle soap, a 10% bleach solution, toss it in the dishwasher, boil it for 3 minutes, wipe it down with isopropyl alcohol, or use your favorite toy cleaner. Avoid dropping or banging the Bent Graduate, whether it's in a lovely protective pouch or not, and exposing it to extreme temperature change (i.e. going from the freezer to the oven) and this will last a long, long time. This toy can be used with all lubricants and condoms, and you should not have any adverse reactions to it (should you have any allergies).

Simply store it in its pouch when it's not in use--it's great to travel with!

The toy comes in utilitarian clear plastic packaging with a pouch (I think all of them are pink; I own 3) and some basic directions involving how to care for the glass and a little bit of information on borosilicate glass, which I found extremely useful. I would not present the clear plastic packaging to someone as a gift, but I might present the toy in the pouch.

This glass toy appears to be very similar to the G-spot pink, the only difference being the G-spot pink is (according to EF, though I found no difference in size in the 1:1 comparison) 1.5 inches longer, 0.25 inches slimmer, $8 more expensive, and it doesn't come with a pouch. The curve on the Bent Graduate appears to be more "bent" than the G-Spot Pink, which has a more gradual curve. The Bent Graduate is more of a cotton candy, bright pink than this pretty light pink pictured, though it is still gorgeous.

Despite all of the warnings I've given above, I adore this toy, will use it for many years and orgasms to come, and I believe that everyone could have a use for the Bent Graduate.

I started with the head of the bent side resting on my clitoris, and the bend nestled against my pubic bone, warming up the glass and warming my naughty bits up. Once I was wet and well aroused, I slid in the bent end of the Bent Graduate and virtually immediately found my g-spot. It was as if the Bent Graduate was made for me.

After having my first orgasm, I switched the Bent Graduate around to the "bubbly" end. I loved pushing this one out and back in with my pelvic muscles, bubble by bubble. The bubbly end offers deeper penetration since you can get the bubbles plus most of the bent end in. Downside with this end, however, is the grooves between bubbles are a little more difficult to clean.
