The smallest part of this dildo has a diameter of about 1 3/4". The peaks of the ridges measure 2 1/4". That means that each ridge varies at about 1/2". Now that doesn't seem like much really, but it makes a HUGE difference in using it.

During insertion you can feel every ridge VERY clearly, and not always in a good way. Because the ridges are so big, vigorous thrusting is not advised. The best use of this toy in my opinion, is as a vaginal plug used in conjunction with a clitoral vibrator; or with shallow/slow thrusting for those who just like the feeling of fullness.

I actually quite like the feel of the Sil-a-gel material. It's very smooth and firm to the touch. However, while Sil-a-Gel is antibacterial, it is still not safe for sharing without a condom. (A small, minor plus with the Sil-a-Gel material, is that you can use both Silicone and Water-based lubricants with it.) This toy also is a little tacky to the touch and will attract a small amount of fuzz, pet hair, and dust. Washing it frequently with warm water and soap is a very good idea.

This dildo is actually scented. Another reviewer mentioned blueberries, and while I was looking over the package I actually found a blueberry icon. The smell is quite strong, but not that unpleasant, and even through a week of airing out and several washes is still hasn't dissipated much.

As I have already mentioned (and will mention again) this toy is very large. Vinyl Vengeance is NOT for beginners. I do not recommend this to anyone who is not used to 2"+ sized toys, no matter what their experience. It's really the extreme variation in the height of the ribs that make this toy difficult to swallow (no pun intended) vaginally, anally (if anyone can fit this anally, well... that's amazing.), or orally. If the ribs varied only by 1/4" instead of 1/2", or were more tapered (less ribs for longer lengths), the size wouldn't be such a problem.

If you can manage to insert Vinyl Vengeance, the ribs do feel very nice. When thrusting slowly, you can feel each ridge pop in and out of your cunt (I really don't see how one could insert this anally). When completely inserted it, is extremely filling and with only minor adjustment, can hit all the spots you want it too. The top of the third ridge hits my G-spot wonderfully, and thrusting it gently and slowly provokes an exciting teasing sensation.

You can re-use the plastic wrapping that the Vinyl Vengeance comes in, since you don't have to cut it to open it, but it would be better to get it a proper case/spot in your toybox.

I thought it was amusing that the cardboard insert had the Vinyl Vengeance printing on the outside, and the Moulin Rouge printed on the inside.

I didn't have any problem inserting the Vinyl Vengeance. I made sure I was very wet (which wasn't difficult because I have a thing for large dildos like this) beforehand, and just took my time. There was a bit of pain involved, but it was more like a dull ache from being stretched so much. I did try thrusting this big guy, and found that the large ribs actually took away from the pleasure, and the whole experience soon turned clinical.

The next time I used him, I took it much slower. This was much more enjoyable as the ribs didn't pop out abruptly, and the session turned into some heavy-duty teasing. When I couldn't stand that anymore, I shoved him in all the way. One of the ribs pressing against my G-spot, and I used a vibrating bullet on my clit. Needless to say, I came very, very fast.

Word to the wise: careful with removal after orgasm as the muscles are tense and tight. It actually may be more painful to remove than insert in some cases.
