G-Brush - dildo by Duncan Charles Designs - review by Lucidity

It's only very recently that I've delved into the world of texture in my search for the (for many) elusive g-spot orgasm, but it has been an eye-opening step in the right direction. When I laid my eyes on the ceramic G-Brush by Duncan Charles Designs, I though oh mama..., I'd found the holy grail! It's hard, it's highly textured and it's angled to hit the g-spot. Bingo. I couldn't order it fast enough.

It arrived in a black, glossy shoe-type box that was 8" square, nestled safely in a cut-out of deep gray foam with a layer of foam on top. Excellent for shipping, fine for storage easily recycled or reused. The outer box had a "Made in U.S.A" sticker (good on Duncan Charles for not outsourcing) and a sticker that told me which product was inside, all in all, rather discreet and classy, no naked people bearing their naughty bits here.

Inside the box was a black, checkered bag, made to fit my toy and a bit of information printed on a small piece of paper. The bag is not padded, but well made and suitable for keeping the G-Brush safe and clean in my drawer or toy box, I would suggest something more padded for travel. The information card is very informative:

•Never use if ceramic toy is chipped or cracked. (Also check before each use for chips or cracks)
•Clean with hot water and soap after each use. (Or toy cleaner, also before each use)
•For temperature play run ceramic toy under hot water, place in oven on low temperature (for a short amount of time), or allow toy to warm to body temperature. (Always test temperature on inside of wrist before using in more sensitive areas as extreme temperatures can burn or freeze sensitive tissue)
•Avoid microwave for heating.
•For cool play, place in fridge or under cold water. (Avoid freezer for freezing)
•Protect ceramic toy when not in use by placing in pouch.

This is a beautifully crafted piece, the weight is heavy, but not too, heavy (it has the heft of a good sized mug), and the glossy black finish is gorgeous and smooth. It's flat on the back of the long end, so that it won't roll away, which is very handy, and the angle is great for customizing your experience and perfect pressure. It's about 8" in total length, 3.25" around at the thinnest point (the handle) and 4.5" around at the thickest (the brush ridges). There are six ridges, that are about 1/8" deep, they take up a length of 2.5" and are from 1" to 2" wide.

This is the kind of toy that does one thing, but does it well. It's made to be used vaginally and stimulate the g-spot and inner walls of the vagina. It has no flange and should not be used anally. It is perfectly suitable to excite other erogenous zone such as the clit or nipples or to rub sore muscles, but it really is best at rocking your box than anything else. Because of the inflexible nature of ceramic, be gentle until you know what you like. If using with a partner be sure to communicate, because you can easily bruise your cervix with too-vigorous thrusting. For temperature play fans, know that the G-Brush works for this purpose, but it doesn't hold temperatures as long or as well as glass or steel.

Ceramic is hygienic and lead free, non-porous, hypo-allergenic, waterproof non-toxic, durable, and compatible with all lubes. It's easy to clean and care for with soap and water, toy cleaner, 10% bleach solution (rise after), top rack of the dishwasher (no soap please), or a quick boil, but please no abrasive materials, as the finish can scratch. Despite ease of cleaning, I would not share this toy without a condom because it has a ridge at the top that can collect bacteria and because each piece is unique, sometimes the glaze can be pitted:
