Nubby G wand - dildo by SSA Glass - review by Lover

The Nubby G Wand is probably best used, as its name implies, as a vaginal g-spot dildo. Since the wand does have a "head" at both ends, it could potentially be used anally on someone who likes a lot of texture in their anal toys. The many "nubs" on the shaft are smooth and not terribly large (and also very faintly tinted pink!), but they are completely unyielding, so they do provide a very noticeable sensation when the dildo is thrust.

The Nubby G is made from a single, seamless piece of pyrex glass, so it feels solid, heavy and extremely slick. Happily, since the dido has a head at either end and many bumps along the shaft, it is actually pretty easy to hold onto and thrust with, even when covered with slippery fluids. And, the two heads and the texture from the nubs provide quite a bit of stimulation when thrusting with this dildo.

At 1 1/8" at it's widest point, the Nubby G is not a very girthy dildo, but it more than makes up for it's lack of width with a number of features that provide intense sensations. First off, since this dildo is made from solid glass, it is heavy and hard and can easily provide very firm pressure without needing to use a lot of force. It is also slightly curved to help it reach the g-spot or p-spot more easily with every thrust. And, the textured nubs on the shaft provide intense sensations for the area around the vaginal entrance and/or the anal sphincter.

The Nubby G is not as dramatically curved as some g/p-spot toys. It isn't very thick and neither of it's two heads has a particularly revolutionary shape. But, it does have a substantial weight that makes it easy to apply pressure wherever you want it. It is hard and slick and pretty. And, the numerous, unyielding "nubs" that line the shaft really make this dildo feel very different from/much more intense than a smooth dildo of a similar size.

Glass toys are generally easy to care for, and the Nubby G is no exception. It can be washed with soap and water or toy cleaner or in the top rack of the dishwasher. It can also be sanitized with a 10% bleach solution or by it boiling for a few minutes. Plus, it is compatible with all types of lubricants.

About the only thing you could do to destroy this toy would be to to drop it onto a hard surface. Glass, of course, can be chipped, cracked or broken if it lands with enough force, but this is a solid piece of dense glass, so it would take quite a bit force to damage this toy. The wand also comes in a soft drawstring bag that provides a nice protective covering for storage.

I myself an not always the biggest fan of bumpy texture on my sex toys, but I actually did enjoy using the Nubby G. I think if it had been any wider, the nubs on the shaft would have been too much for me even though I enjoy many larger (but smooth) toys. I just find that I need to thrust a bit slower and gentler when using this toy than I would with a smooth dildo.
