Candy Dildo

With all the possible uses, I really feel this toy is a steal. It's not pure silicone so it may not last a lifetime, but it is a good piece. It's hard to find smaller sized realistic dildos, and while I would have preferred silicone, I'm not upset with this. Hopefully the glue smell will keep fading!

Use

Crystal Cote is a very versatile dildo. I have used it by hand, in a harness, let my partner use it on me, and stuck to the wall. This is a good dildo for someone looking for a smaller sized, semi-realistic dildo with texture. You can use it pretty much anywhere, including water situations. It is safe to use anally since it has balls at the base to keep it from slipping up too far. If you did choose to use it anally, I would suggest putting a condom on it to ensure you keep the material clean. It's flexible, so I had no issues with cervix pain, but the texture is pretty intense and could be too much for some users.

Material / Texture

Crystal Cote is made of silicone TPR. Out of the package, I thought it smelled like school glue from my childhood. This isn't the most offensive toy smell I've encountered, but I didn't love it, either. After a few washes, the smell was still faint. The material has flex but not a lot of squish. It's smooth to the touch, but it does have some drag. Though it's a realistic looking toy, I do not feel that it's realistic feeling. The texture is very firm and intense. I found the pronounced head was too much for me and could be uncomfortable in some positions. If you're a big texture fan, you might love it. Of course, it's not as intense as textured glass.
Beginners and more advanced users will find uses for this toy, but if you like larger sizes, this may underwhelm you.

Design / Shape / Size

I was looking for a smaller realistic dildo that wasn't flesh-colored, and this fit the bill perfectly. I think it looks like a hard candy sucker. The texture was a little too much for me, but my partner enjoys it a lot. It's 7" long but only 4 1/2" insertable. My partner and I both prefer shorter toys. It's 4" in circumference and 1 1/4" in diameter.
Most users won't feel full from this toy, so size queens should definitely skip this one over. The variety of uses will make most users happy.
Obviously, it's not a realistic toy. People worried about discretion may want to look elsewhere. The small size does make it easy to store. I wouldn't be nervous checking this in my baggage, either.
The suction cup is its own piece and could become detached after rigorous use.

Performance

For us, the best thing about this dildo is the size. It's also nice that it's harness compatible. You can put the dildo through and let the o-ring rest in front of the balls or squish the suction cup into the ring. The suction cup works really well on a smooth wall or in the tub, and makes a great handle as well.

Care and Maintenance

I keep all my toys clean by wiping them down with toy cleaner and a washcloth. I would recommend cleaning TPR before and after use since it's somewhat porous and can be a lint magnet. It's not the easiest toy to care for, but not a toughie, either. I store mine in a plastic baggie in one of my toy drawers. You should not store different materials touching, so just to be safe I keep each toy in its own pouch, box, or bag. It comes in clamshell packaging. You could keep it in the original package; I just find that they get in the way. Water-based lube is the lube to choose with a silicone TPR toy.

Great review. It seems like a nice size, but I'm not sure about the material.
