Use

The blue spiral is best for vaginal insertion, then rotation, not thrusting. You can use it anally because of the flared base. I found the head to be a bit big but the rotating feature to be great for anal. The hardness of the Pyrex and difference in girth between the head and shaft makes it not ideal for thrusting. In my experience it is best to insert slowly and carefully, then spin it at any speed you desire. Great for g-spot stimulation.

Material / Texture

The blue spiral is hefty for its size because it is 100% Pyrex glass. I love Pyrex because it is smooth, safe and easy to care for! It's also completely odorless! Pyrex is nonporous and very resistant to breakage. Do be careful though, because it is so completely non-flexible you should use gently on/in your body.

Design / Shape / Size

The blue spiral is a sturdy Pyrex dildo with a twist. The shaft is short, under 4", and not very girthy except for the more bulbous head. It sports juicer-like texture on the head and some spiraled grooves on the shaft for extra pleasure. The base is flared, so it can be used anally, and has little nubs for external stimulation. Overall, the toy is quite small and compact, making it easy to use, store and travel with.

I had been wanting to try a spinning glass dildo for years, ever since I saw one featured on an episode of HBO's Real Sex. The whole idea behind a toy like this is to create a totally different insertional experience. This toy is not about thrusting, it's about spinning! You spin the dildo by turning the nubby handle at the base. It's best to achieve through torque by spinning the nub between your fingers. It worked fine, no complaints! However, I would highly recommend giving this duty to a partner as it can be slightly awkward from one's own vantage point.

Care and Maintenance

Simply clean it with soap and warm water. The silkiness of the Pyrex feels great against the skin and doesn't require too much lube. Use water, silicone or oil-based lubricants. The physical character of Pyrex allows for temperature play, cool it down with some ice water or heat it up with some body heat. Just be careful not to heat it or cool it too much, ouch!
